Edgemere Farm

Edgemere Farm is a half-acre urban farm located in the beachside community of Far Rockaway, Queens. In 2013 our founders transformed a historically vacant and underutilized lot on Beach 45th Street into a lush and productive space, where a wide variety of fresh and organically grown vegetables, fruits and herbs could be cultivated. sula. You can find our vegetables at Uma's, Rockaway Taco, Cuisine By Claudette, and Goody's. The farm is also home to fifteen chickens (more to come!), honey bees, a "bug hotel", medicinal herbs, hops for Rockaway Brewing Co. Every Thursday during the summer we host on-the-farm dinners that are open to the public. Each dinner features a different chef from the Rockaway Peninsula and a specifically designed menu that uniquely incorporates ingredients straight from the farm.
