Farmington Animal Hospital

Farmington Animal Hospital We treat your pets like we treat our own. Farmington Animal Hospital, located in Farmington, Connecticut, is a complete service hospital.

We are equipped with surgery, digital radiology, dental, exam, pharmacy, diagnostic laboratory, and kennel facilities. The doctor uses a Surgitron during surgeries, which resembles a laser but uses ultra high frequency radio waves sent to an electrode tip for precise, clean cutting. This equipment is used in both our major and minor surgeries as it aids in rapid healing. Digital radiography gives

us quick images which we can readily share with you. Our dental Cavitron is put into regular use, keeping pet's teeth sparkling and strong.

# Important Safety Reminder for Dog Owners This Season

This season is especially busy for our volunteers, as the number of lost dogs tends to spike during the summer months.

As we approach the **4th of July** ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐ŸŽ†, we want to stress the importance of keeping your dogs leashed at all times. Please refrain from leaving them outside unattended or without a leash. Your dogs are relying on you for their safety.

# # Fireworks Safety for Your Dogs

Please **DO NOT** bring your dog to any events where fireworks ๐ŸŽ‡ will be happening.

Ensure that they have a safe and secure space inside your home. Close the shades and consider playing calming music or turning up the television to help mask the sound of the fireworks. Additionally, keep your windows closed to prevent any chance of them jumping through the screen.

Enjoy the summer and the holiday weekend. Keep your pets safe! They are depending on you. ๐Ÿพ
