First want to say thank you to Amanda Wolf & her family for this beautiful sign. I cannot wait to hang it up, I still can’t get over the fact that its my actual photo and all my horses markings are on it too🤍🤍

Today was bittersweet, we said goodbye to Cody, as he went to his new home & family, he will surely be missed but cannot wait to see how far he comes🤍

We just attended a wonderful AAEP session "Assessment of Biosecurity for the Equine Infectious Diseases in Veterinary Practice," session led by the legend in this field, Nathaniel A. White. He founded and is now director of the Equine Disease Communication Center, which does amazing work.

A key takeaway is us owners not grasping the risks involved when a new horse comes on the property and when we take our horses to an event.

Isolating new arrivals, preventing co-mingling of horses at events and temperature monitoring are key.

For having little over a year off, and doing only slow work trying to restart him, came to shine today. A few riding errors on my end that need cleaned up, I am so proud of him and feel very accomplished with this run. He places is 2nd in the 3D with a 18.517

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to take Aburie & Tuff to their first show!!! She may not have placed in the money, but she went out and kept all barrels up and came out smiling!!!

I'm so incredibly proud of not only Aubrie working so hard and putting in the time to learn on Tuff and take care of him. But for Tuff being the BEST BOY for her, seeing the horse I trained, rodeoed on and did 4-H, now taking care of a younger girl, helping her to be her best & do her best. I cannot wait for more horse shows and to see what they can accomplish together. 🩶🩶🩶

SIM QUA QUINCY, aka Cody
17-year-old gelding, has ran barrels, poles and has been trail rode.
He has been ran in rodeo pens and larger pens. I personally would say depending on the rider & arena he would be a 1D-2D horse. He DOES REQUIRE MAINTENENCE, such as hocks injected once a year and has to be ran on lasix. He can get hot if ran all day long in every class, for that reason I would say experienced rider only. He gets along with other horses. Loads, leads, stands good for farrier & vet. Located in Fayette, Ohio.
