Suga bun gave us a beautiful litter of 6 this evening ! ❤️
Mini Rex kits
Addy’s litter of red New Zealand’s are going great this is her 2nd litter and she is already showing much better results compared to her first time!
She’s had 2 broken, 1 booted and 5 solids and so far at 6 days old these kits are doing great!
Here is the update on the NZ’s BR04 had to take Ariel’s litter of 7 survivors, which made the chances hard considering she already had 8 kits herself … but I had been letting Ariel’s kits hand nurse twice daily until her milk supply finally finished out; reason for this is not every first time mom will be the best mother, in Ariel’s case something snapped at around day 5th of having her kits, pottying all over them and stomping them after seeing the drastic change with her I had to move them but a lot of damage had already happened in the short amount of time, after moving the 7 kits to BR04 she cleaned them and took them in wonderfully but sadly lost 2 the that first night to internal issues, the following couple days a couple more also passed away..
But we have 3 lucky survivors shown as the first 3 (only solid red kits) in this video they’ve had a rough beginning but the future is bright for them. All of BR04 kits are just a tad bigger which is to be expected but I’m so proud of her for being an amazing foster mother and still taking the best care of her own kits.
This just goes to show how things can change so quick both of these does were first time mothers, one fell off the wagon and the other picked up the weight ❤️
-these kits are now opening/opened their eyes and are 2.5 and 2.4 weeks old ❤️
Marie started hay stashing Heavy last night and had 1 kit while I was out there let’s hope for lots of broken reds this morning !!
