I am so thankful for this community and all of you that have reached out. Reading your messages has been difficult. Simultaneously bringing sadness and joy.

Our family is navigating a very strange path.
We do not have a frame of reference.
What I do know is that we will not allow grief
to steal our joy.

Pic 1 was taken in May of 2022 just before Clive’s surgery. This is the smile I will forever remember. The children spent the day fishing and hunting bullfrogs. Maxine had been skipping rocks and accidentally hit Clive in the head. As blood trickled down his neck he hugged her. She was the one crying. Clive said “It’s ok Max.” In the picture Clive is holding the biggest bullfrog they had caught. He was such a strong, fearless and fun loving little boy. He was the leader of our younger children. He had a sensitive spirit and little cowboy grit. He is missed with such a deep longing. I choose to be thankful. It does not ease the tears. But it is what will carry me. Jesus knows.

At 4 weeks these chunky puppies are killing us🥹
They are ridiculously sweet with a lovely mellow about them.
This litter is fully reserved and booked for their flights home with the exception of one sister moving to Texas. Her family is driving here to Arkansas to pick her up.
