It was great to catch up with you Carly and sweet Rylee - thank you for the coffee and entertainment! See you again soon! Also nice to see you again Libby and look forward to seeing you in November.

Checking out the booties on these BBT Exotic whites I am adding to my line (Thank you Tony)! ❤️ So grateful to have these handsome boys over my white girls and Bailey’s Exotic white girls (Thank you Kathy and Malena)! It gets better! And then once I add whites from Joe/CMH Farms…..my whites are going to be 🔥🔥 Get ready for some stunning whites in 2025 👏🎉

Another winner with The Crazy Chicken Farm 2.0 birds at the Pike County Fair!

Good job Mazie, congratulations! 🎊 Her black bird got grand champion cockrel and reserve best in show! These kids are placing higher I have in shows! 😂 That is a testament to the hard work they put in to raising these birds and properly conditioning them for shows!

My view for the next 3 days on a family vacation….then off to Chicago (work trip) for a week! If I am slow to respond hang in there with me and continue to follow up, does not bug me at all. I appreciate the reminders! ❤️🙏

Chocolates! 🍫 I almost got rid of my entire chocolate pen because these birds were not looking good in their teenager stage….and even around 5 months old! A few months later their wings got tighter, bodies filled out and big beards came in! Love them! ❤️ Breeder cred: Bailey’s Exotic!

Offering this beautiful cockerel here before I post for the rest of the chicken community to see!

Satin Buff Partridge from the Bella Nera line! He was DNA sexed as a female and looked like a female for the longest…..until he started to grow streamers and crow 🤦‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️He would be an asset to add to your line if this is the type of variety you need! He is about 7 months old and still growing! Great type, super handsome!

$6️⃣5️⃣ He can be 🚢 when weather cools down if he does not sell locally. Local pickup will be prioritized.

Poultry Show in Springfield, MO - Ozark Empire went well! Lots of work went in to preparing all these birds! 😅 I did not take any blues or blacks - they were not conditioned in time. I had the opportunity to see some of my chicken friends, great discussions with other breeders and even competed against my own birds!

Will provide more details, for now, here are some pictures!

Conditioning has started! Getting a late start but that is just the way things went down this time around!

Does anyone else hate bathing their silkies when prepping for shows? I do know people that love it….but for me, it is now my LEAST favorite part of showing - clipping toe nails, washing crests and beards, brushing their feathers, scrubbing each bird clean, blow dry, oil on their skin and toes, etc.

If I had a magic wand I would have someone wash and clean them all….then return them fresh and clean to me! 😂🤷🏼‍♀️
