Just a little FYI note 📝 for those that have reserved a Care Bear 🐻:
I have scheduled their veterinary appointment on January 20th for their wellness exams and 1st set of puppy vaccines.

🦠 Please, schedule an appointment with your veterinarian for 3-4 weeks from the above date. I cannot stress the importance of keeping their vaccinations on schedule. It literally could mean the difference between life or death ☠️ of your beautiful new beloved puppy.🐶

Every puppy will leave my care with 2 parvo shots on board. I give a Neopar Parvo Only vaccine at 5 weeks old. My vet will give them their 1st combination vaccine at 7 1/2-8 weeks old prior to leaving my home.🏡
By having the 2 Parvo vaccines prior to going home will give them some protection against the dreaded Parvovirus🦠 BUT it will not FULLY protect or prevent the virus until they have completed their Full set of puppy shots. The protection afforded by these vaccinations is most effective whenever given on time and spaced apart by 3-4 weeks.

I will provide every puppy parent some information I typed up on what Parvo is, and how to safely socialize your new puppy until fully vaccinated. It will provide some details on the DO’s and the DON’T’s of having an under-vaccinated puppy. Please read that!! It will be located in the folder inside your puppy’s go home bag!

If you have any questions or concerns about Parvo or vaccines always feel free to reach out to me! I try to make myself available to all my puppy parents at anytime.

Did the weatherman mention snow ⛄️ and much colder 🥶 weather coming our way to WV‼️💙💛
The Care Bears 🐻 got their toboggans on and their sleigh 🛷 ready to have some winter ❄️ fun!!
Their adorable wintertime photoshoot will follow with their individual pictures. We still have 2 girl Care Bears 🐻 that have yet to find their future residence.

Meet our Wirehair girl Fern! She has grown into the cutest wire lady! She has the sweetest smile that just makes you happy! She is a spitfire and keeps me laughing!😆 Fern says “Never lose your smile”😊 Hope you enjoyed watching Fern grow up!💞

We had planned to breed Clover Shaye🍀 to Jagger but it wasn’t in the cards for a natural mating! I did Artificially Inseminate her twice but I think my timing may have been a little off.😔
I’m not seeing any signs of pregnancy yet but it is still very early. I have an ultrasound scheduled for January 6th to confirm if we will be adding to the CloverPatch 🍀🌈. Fingers and toes crossed 🤞🏻…
If she is pregnant her estimated due date will be around the end of January.

COLORS EXPECTED: all chocolate/tan or chocolate/cream.
COATS POSSIBLE: Smooth coats and Longhairs.
PATTERNS POSSIBLE: Piebald, Dapples, and Dapple Piebalds.

STAY TUNED for either a pregnancy announcement 📣 or a SAD announcement 📢 saying I wasn’t successful with her AI.😢

Wirehair babies hopefully coming 🔜! Folllow our journey with Fern’s 1st litter. All information about what colors/patterns/coats we can expect are listed ⬇️ in our original post.

New Year…New Coats will be included this year!!🥰 Fern was bred to our boy Jagger and is showing signs of pregnancy!! Eek 😱!!!
This will be our only wirehair girl Fern’s 1st batch of babies! 💞💞
Fern has an estimated due date around February 5-6th.

This will be a very colorful litter with all 3 coats possible due to the genetics 🧬 of both Fern and Jagger.

COLORS POSSIBLE: ALL colors except Cream
PATTERNS POSSIBLE: ALL Piebalds (can be tan pointed) with dapple, and dapple piebalds.
COATS POSSIBLE: Wirehair, Silky Wirehair, Smooth Coats, and Longhairs.

Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 that she took! They had one really long (about 45 minutes 😳) and hopefully successful breeding.
Praying that our resident wirehair comedian Fern has an easy whelp for her 1st batch! I am so excited to hopefully have a batch of wire babies again! They are seriously the best of the dachshund coats!
