SOMETHING NEW FOR TRIALS: The makers of our agility software have made it to where I can edit the height run order, so at this trial we will NOT be running 4-20 or 20-4! Those of you who ALWAYS get stuck being the first or last dog in a class will get a break!

NEW START TIME: Saturday Start Time is 9 AM
WHERE: Run Wild Dog Sports in Auburn WA

For everyone's safety we will start the trial tomorrow at 9AM. This will give everyone more time for the side roads to thaw if your neighborhood is still a bit icy.

For reference, I live in Maple Valley and the side streets were icy this morning, and the deck is still icy. But the main roads to RunWIld were clear and dry, as was the RunWild parking lot when I went to check on things this morning.

Well the ZAP June 2021 is in the books! It was great to be back to a trial after a 1 1/2 hiatus and I enjoyed seeing all of you! All results have been emailed out so check your inbox.

The trial ran really well - THANK YOU ALL for going with the flow, pitching in to help out, and for your positive attitudes!

Special thanks to Nancy Roller, Mike Roller, Courtney Roller for being the best course builders I could hope for! And thank you to everyone who jumped in to help the Rollers with builds and picking up stuff!

Thank you Kari Hammargren for being a great judge and Thank you April Weber for playing judge for Kari!

Eden Van Ballegooijen and Scooter kept the volunteers organized - I couldn't do the trial without you ladies!

Vicki Hurley (and Rocky!) made getting your ribbons easier, cleaner, and prettier with the ribbon display rack.

And all of our ZAP members - you ROCK! It took a bit for me to get back in to the groove of trial secretary, so knowing that you all had everything else handled made it so I could just concentrate on that stuff!
..Also special thanks to Cathy L. Percy and Teddi for the bottle of Elysian Space Dust (it's a beer). These ladies know how to treat the trial secretary when there are last minute changes. I'm thinking we should instill a rule that changes require liquor or chocolate.... thoughts? :-)

ZAP's Trial June 12-13 2021 Updates
Very important information:
Please read all the way to bottom.

It's been over a year since ZAP has held an agility trial and we are happy to report, that as of this moment the JUNE TRIAL IS A GO!

PLEASE KEEP READING:

While we anticipate holding the June trial, there is always a chance that something could happen that would prevent us from doing so (such as a lock down or a rollback of a phase), but with COVID vaccinations increasing and social distancing/mask wearing, we are pretty confident we can hold this trial!

I have sent the premium to NADAC for approval. As soon as it is approved I will post it and email out to you all.

There will be several differences at this trial, to ensure safety for everyone. The following changes (in addition to other COVID protocols as needed) will be in effect:
There will not be a raffle at this trial.
We are not sure about vendors being present at this time. Cathy and I will make that decision by June 1st.
ZAP will not provide any coffee, water, food, etc. Please be prepared to bring all of your own supplies.
Indoor crating will be just for the course builders and ZAP club members. Please come prepared to crate out of your car or set up and easy up on the hill.
Results will be hung on the wall for easier viewing/less touching than in a binder.
Ribbons will be hung (rather than in drawers).
All COVID protocol, including mask wearing and hand sanitizing will be followed. * We are unsure at this time if exhibitors will be required to run while wearing a mask or not. This largely depends on our state's numbers and other factors. We will know more as we get closer.
Barn doors will be OPEN, so come prepared for it to be nippy in the morning.
No seating ringside at this trial.
All entries will need to be mailed in (no online entries, sorry!) with payment, BUT CHECK WILL NOT BE CASHED UNTIL AFTER THE TRIAL. In the event that the trial is forced to cancel, all checks will be shredded.
There may be more protocol that comes in the play as we get closer. Thank you all in advance for your patience and flexibility.

Welcome! We're the Zooming Agility Pups dog agility club based in the Seattle area. We love being able to do agility with our dogs so we started this club to provide more agility venues for all dog breeds & mixes.
