These stories break my heart! Could you consider fostering or adopting?

Loumi and Scar, two dogs who are walking miracles, are waiting in Kuwait for a committed foster or forever home here in the PNW.
Loumi is approximately 6 years old and has been through so much in his life. This sweet boy was found on the streets of Kuwait, shot 3 times, beaten until his legs were broken and ran over by a car. He was saved by some compassionate women and nursed back to health. Despite his dim past, Loumi still finds joy in life. He loves other dogs and loves to be with his people. He is timid and scared when he first meets new humans (rightfully so) but he quickly warms up when he realizes he is loved and safe.
Scar is approximately 1.5 years old and survived multiple stab wounds in the streets of Kuwait. He is very resilient and loves life and all it has to give. He is full of energy and would love to be your adventure pal. He gets along great with kids and other dogs.
Both of these pups have been through SO much already in their lives and deserve a loving forever home. If that could be you, please apply today on our website,

Come see Big Dog Little Dog Lodge Auburn’s Petpalooza on Saturday, May 18, 10am – 5pm at Game Farm Park in Auburn. In addition to a 9:30am Dog Trot 3K/5K Fun Run, there’s loads to see and do including live entertainment, stunt dog shows and other animal attractions. The festival features a no barrier petting zoo, face painting and other children’s activities, a food court and beer garden, an agility area, over 150 vendors and TONS more! We hope to see you there!

Adopt me? Foster me??? Meet Sweetie, a 10 month old pitbull with a heart of gold. This sweet girl is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and full of youthful personality. She is incredibly trainable and loves to play, making her the perfect addition to any loving home.

Sweetie was found tied to a fence in Federal Way back in January and has been in foster care and now our boarding facility ever since. We are on the lookout for her forever home or a new foster family who can give her the love and attention she deserves. Sadly as we approach our very busy boarding season in the next week space simply isn’t available for this sweet girl. A foster or adopted family is urgently needed. 🥹

Despite her difficult start in life, Sweetie is full of love and affection. She is eager to find her forever family and is ready to bring joy and happiness into their lives.

If you are considering adding a furry friend to your family, please consider giving Sweetie a chance. She is sure to bring endless love and companionship to your life.

After 152 days of boarding at , 2 or 3 meet and greets that weren’t quite the right fit, Benny proved that patience is a virtue and his new family was 💯 worth the wait. A special shout out to for sending this amazing boy through our doors. It was an absolute blessing to be able to love and snuggle Benny. To Tre, Layla, Lindsay & Ashley a huge thank you for supporting me in my vision to not only care for all the amazing fur babies that come through our facility, but for also loving and taking the extra time and patience needed to help the dozens of foster dogs we’ve been able to say yes to, so they would have a chance to find this family and avoid euthanasia. It’s not alway easy, and definitely not alway pretty, but we love these fur babies and I’m so happy to be able save as many as we have with the help and support of the rescues.
