The saga of our first official rescue animal...

This is Cleo, a juvenile leopard gecko who came to me in a crammed & unsuitable tank. She wasn't eating, and was just never allowed to get comfortable due to the setup she had. Within 24 hours of her coming to me, her tank she came in is completely unrecognizable and she has even been eating regularly, even doing so from my hand shortly after she was introduced into her "new and improved" tank. It is crazy how much it can do to just make their environment a little more "livable". Within 24 hours, we saw a completely different Cleo. She is now with her new family and adjusting well, and that is what we aim for with each and every rescue that comes through our door.
