How could you not fall in love with this face? Linus is the sweetest little kitty. He loves people and does good with dogs. He is around 14 weeks old. Unfortunately, Linus is feline leukemia positive. We are looking for a home that has other feline leukemia positive kitties or no other cats. Please message/ email to discuss further. Wishbone still available, this adorable 5-month-old possible hound mix is looking for his forever home. Wishbone is an energetic and curious boy who loves an adventure. Despite his playful nature, this sweet boy also knows how to relax and cuddle. He loves being around people and will often curl up next to you for a cozy nap or cuddle session. Wishbone is currently working on his basic obedience training with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement, Wishbone will surely become a well-behaved and obedient companion in no time. From our foster Jamie Meems Harrison-Forgue:

Carley Bean was picked up in Kansas as a stray at 6-8 weeks old. She has been with me working on some issues so that she can be adopted. She started limping a couple of weeks ago and the vet found that her right femoral head is deteriorating and will require FHO surgery. This surgery will be around $2,000. She has already been spayed, chipped and gotten UPD on all of her vaccines. She has become loving and has learned to snuggle while being here with us. Without donations we would not be able to do what we do. They depend on us to be their voice and be there when they need us, when they have been failed by others. I have been fostering since 2017 and I love that I can be that person that can care for them and they can depend on. I love them like my own and find the very best homes that I can for them. The scared, the feral, the broken, the guarded all know what love and care is when they are with us. It fills my heart with so much love that I get to do what I do and with a great group of people that is here for them in their time of need. It breaks my heart just a little when they leave, but I never want theirs to break again. ❤️

We said we wanted to finish the year out with a bang and we have done just that! We stepped in to save this sweet mama and her unborn puppies less than a week ago when she was on her way to a spay abort appointment. Thank you to our foster family (who were "taking a break") for stepping up to save this family!

Momma had her babies last night and into this morning! She had 8 girls and 3 boys. All babies are black except for 1 little brown girl! They all seem healthy, and momma is taking great care of them!

As we prepare to give thanks this week we reflect on how thankful we are for this amazing community! Without our supporters, fosters and volunteers we couldn’t save the hundreds of dog and kitty friends we do every year. ❤️

Meet sweet Annie!! She is approx 35lbs, almost 1 yr old and maybe a hound mix with those cute ears! She is a little shy at first but warms up fast then she is a snuggle bug! We think him to be possible black mouth cur mix, approx 2 yrs old, 40 lbs. He is a really good boy once he gets comfortable in his home and then he LOVES loves his family with all his heart. And because of that love he can be a little protective of his people with strangers. He is corrected easily but could benefit from a strong leader. He really is a sweet guy, he loves all dogs and doesnt seem interested in cats. He will snuggle on the couch all day and binge Netflix with you so will make the perfect companion. Who is ready for a new best friend?! This little doll is looking for her forever home! Her name is Ava and she’s approx 4 months old, weighs about 13 pounds and is the sweetest baby ever! She has a sad story a person actually saw a hawk pick her up and thank goodness dropped her but she had a pretty bad laceration on her shoulder. She's 100% healed and ready for her forever. She has lots of energy and would love another playful friend or a family to give her all the attention! She’s great with kids, dogs and cats! Working on her potty training, and is crate trained.

Everyone meet Lexi! She is about 7 months old, 40lbs. This girl has had a very rough start to life. She spent her first months in this world living outside with her siblings. She has never been on a leash and is still very much afraid of the leash but her foster mom is working with her. She has learned that life inside a warm house with soft beds, full belly, and toys is quite nice. She loves dogs and cats. She is super gentle with a 9 month old baby in the home and loves giving him kisses. She is still working on potty training since this is a new concept to her but she is doing well and if let out often does not have accidents. She is crate trained and very treat oriented! Meet Bell! She’s almost 7 months old, potty trained, crate trained, and loves to PLAY!! She gets along with other animals, and is a Great Pyrenees mix. She is currently 55 lbs. Might not be good in a home with little children because she’s not use to her size, and she’s just going to get bigger. Rosie is an incredibly sweet 2-3 year old boxer/pittie mix who’s ready to find her forever home! She was abandoned in a small town in the south and was found by a volunteer. She didn’t have a microchip and after many calls/messages/posts, no one came for her. Rosie may be a little shy at first but is dog and kid friendly and has never met a stranger. She’s house trained and can be in a kennel but is never in one at her foster home since she’s house trained. She loves walks, toys, and snuggles on the couch. Nelson (the cute black one) really is the happiest boy once he is given a chance to open up. He loves other dogs and is generally instantly friends with them. He was previously abused by someone and takes some time to warm up to new people. He warms up to women faster then men. He needs a home with another playful dog. He requires a home with a tall fence or does ok on a cable if the fence is low. All this guy needs is someone to give him just a few days to learn they aren’t going to hurt him and he will be your absolute best friend ❤️
