We grew about 500 pounds of vegetables per year here, but we said farewell to our Ferndale urban farm this fall. The name was an inside joke but the meaning rings true. We've relocated to New Hampshire, where the garden will be bigger and so will our dreams. (Photos by the incredibly talented Nic Antaya) Follow our latest adventures at Bradbury Farms!

Our tiny, messy strawberry patch yielded enough berries for a batch of 20 pints of strawberry-rhubarb jam (rhubarb from the farmers market). Plus our snacking and a strawberry-rhubarb cake, we’ve probably harvested 6 pounds. It’s nearing the end of but not quite done yet.

Enjoy the garden and its bounty.

The “not quite done tomato harvest”! These were from the sucker plants we planted in June and the main plants before the frost. We ripened them in paper bags, and they are now in the freezer for winter stews, soups and sauces.
