These two handsome boys are looking for their forever home! F1 Mini Aussidoodles. Plaid, the Merle boy, is one of the bigger pups in the litter and should mature to about 35 lbs. Cotton, the black tri, is the smallest in the litter and should mature to about 20lbs. Both boys have their mama's striking blue eyes! They will be 8 weeks old and ready to tuck under your tree in exactly 1 week from today! More info available here:

Everyone that was on the waitlist before this litter was born has officially chosen their pups! So, Plaid and Cotton are officially available and beginning their search for their own Christmas trees! 🎄
These are F1 mini Aussiedoodles expected to mature in the 15-25 lb range. Cotton and Plaid are both males. They will be 8 weeks old and ready to go to their new homes on Dec. 17th. They come with age appropriate deworming and vaccines, microchipped with FiNano microchips that have free lifetime registration, and a puppy go home bag with food, potty pellets (they're started on potty training!), a blanket with their mama/siblings scent, toys, and their health and vet record.

The babies are just over 4 weeks old and their little personalities are starting to emerge! For those who are not friends with me on my personal page, I have some news. I am 35 weeks pregnant today and had to go into the hospital last week for pre-term labor. My Dr. put me on bedrest in an attempt to keep this baby girl baking for as long as possible! Luckily I have a ton of help with the puppies while I'm stuck in bed. My friend Britni at Roscoe Ranch Corgis came over today to deworm the babies for me and get some great pictures! Thank you so much Britni!
I'm also thankful for the live cameras so I can check on the pups 24/7 from bed, lol. This Sunday is pick day for those on the waitlist who haven't made a decision yet! Deposits are also due that day. I'll have 2 puppies that will still be looking for homes and I'll know exactly which two after everyone picks on Sunday. Thank you so much everyone!

Abby and Nugget are expecting Puppies!! Just confirmed via ultrasound, F1 Mini Aussiedoodle puppies due to arrive October 22nd! Their estimated go-home date would be December 17th, just in time for Christmas! The waitlist for this litter is completely full. Stay tuned for Pupdates!

Lost Coast Aussies is looking for guardian homes!
A guardian program allows a breeder to expand their program while ensuring that every parent dog lives in a loving home with plenty of attention.

Perks of being a guardian home include:
🐶 Getting a pick-of-the-litter quality pup at no charge.
🐶 Compensation - Guardian homes get one puppy (for you or a friend!) *or* cash value of one puppy for each litter.

Requirements for being considered to be a guardian home include:
🐶 Must live within 1 hour of Ferndale CA.
🐶 Must have no other unaltered dogs in the home.
🐶 Must be willing to attend puppy preschool with Redwood Coast K9 Academy (paid for by Lost Coast Aussies).

The future mama dog lives in the guardian’s home as their family pet. When she is 2 years old she will go through pre-breeding health testing (at breeders expense). She then comes here to the farm for her breeding date and then back to her home for the majority of her 63 day gestation. 1 week prior to her due date, she comes to the farm to settle in for whelping. She stays until the pups are weaned and then goes back home to her family. Guardian families are welcome and encouraged to come visit their mama dog and her babies while she’s at the farm. Guardian homes also have access to the 24/7 puppy cams. After her breeding career (2-3 litters), she will be spayed (at breeders expense) and remains in the guardian home as their family companion for the rest of her life.

And then there was one! Ambrosia (now Bridget) went to her new home today so Shortcake is the last pup! She is starting to learn her big girl manners now like recall, look, sit and potty training. Here her grandma Jill and half sister Windy are helping her learn ‘go to your bed’ and to stay there. She’s taken to it so well already. Such a smart pup!

**Update** Chancho has a potential home lined up with a friend! We’ll do a trial run in 2 weeks when he’s all healed up. Thank you to everyone for sharing!

Chancho is officially retired from stud life after his neuter appointment this morning. He’s been a fantastic stud and has thoroughly enjoyed his breeding career, but I’m sure he will love the retired life. Once he is all healed up he’ll be looking for the perfect retirement home.
I am in no rush whatsoever and if the perfect home doesn’t come along he will stay here forever. However, I know he would love to be the center of attention in a loving family.

Chancho is absolutely fabulous with children of all ages, he’s incredibly patient, forgiving, and I have never met a dog so eager to please. He walks on a leash very well and will track alongside a bicycle. He has very good manners and obedience training. He waits at the door to be invited in, knows sit, down, stay, roll over, wait, out, and will even run and jump into your arms on command. He’s a great trail buddy whether you’re on foot, horseback, or wheeler. He has free ranged with chickens and cattle and does not chase or harm any livestock. Great with cats. Crate trained and very content in his crate. Gets along well with other dogs.
His one negative trait is that he can sometimes mark in the house if left unsupervised. That may well diminish after his neuter. He has a harder time with it if there are other intact males or in-heat females in the household. As long as he is under supervision he won’t. It is alleviated by simply supervising him or sending him to his bed or crate when unsupervised. Other than that, he’s a fantastic dog and a joy to have in your life. He does not chew and is not destructive in any way. He does not wander away from home and always sticks close to the house when outside. He absolutely loves to play fetch and loves to swim. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants an Aussie without having to go through the puppy phase.

Well… We have an announcement to make. Peach Pie has 7 gorgeous little babies. Chancho is… very good at his job. A little *too* good. Despite my diligence in keeping him and Peach separated when she was in her last heat and standing heat.. he successfully took Peach on a date to funky town. They did the hanky panky. Although it’s not ideal, and I wanted to wait until her next heat, it’s not the end of the world. These will be gorgeous dogs. No reds, as Chancho is not red factored, but all these pups will carry the red gene from Peach. Purebred ASDR Aussies. They will be in the 30-40 lb range. Chancho already has a neuter appointment, the sly dog 🤦🏼‍♀️. Peach is turning out to be a fantastic mother already, just like her mama Jill. She’s very proud of herself and these little nuggets she made. She had a very easy labor and delivery that was not even 2 hours start to finish.
I’ll be honoring my existing waitlist for Peach’s first *planned* fall litter first, but I know a lot of you folks wanted reds. Stay tuned for pics of these pretty little pups! Should be lots of blue eyes. *edit to clarify, Chancho is NOT Peaches dad!! She is by Bronco out of Jill.

I had a great time photographing these GORGEOUS standard Aussiedoodle puppies for my friend Caroline!
These puppies are AVAILABLE! This is Caroline’s first litter and I am happy to help her find them fantastic homes because she has done all the right things! All the health testing on the parents, started on potty training the same way I do, and raised with lots of love.

Expected to mature to the 45-55lb range.
Ready to go to their new homes on March 23rd.

Dam is an AKC Standard Australian Shepherd, genetically clear Embark full panel, OFA hips and elbows tested good.
Sire is Ziggy! Same sire as our last Aussiedoodle litter! AKC standard poodle, genetically clear Embark full panel, OFA hips and elbows tested good.
