Hello everyone,
I never thought I would have to make a post like this, but I am reaching out in hopes of finding some support. The rescue and I have fallen victim to a very elaborate fraud, and we are struggling to recover what we lost.

Unfortunately, We can't afford a $10,000 retainer for an attorney to help us navigate this situation. However, I am hoping to find someone who can assist us, at least in filing the necessary legal documents. If you’re a freelance paralegal, legal assistant, or know someone who might be able to help, I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance you can provide.

Please reach out if you can help, or if you know someone who might be able to point me in the right direction. I’m doing everything I can to get us back on our feet and any support means the world to us.

Welcome Bo! Thankfully we were able to bring Bo here yesterday as his dog bite wound has healed enough the vet felt we could now handle the wound care. 🎉
Huge shout out to Cross Creek Alpaca Rescue for helping with a fundraiser for the vet bill. 🩷
Bo is a Suri alpaca and we are told he is about 10 years old. He’ll have some time to decompress and make sure he’s fully healed before letting him in with our boys.

UPDATE: Bo, the dog bite victim, is still at the vet receiving care for his injuries. 😢 An update from the vet yesterday after cleaning the wound again, said he is encouraged by the health of the tissue and is planning to keep him until at least mid-week.
Cross Creek Alpaca Rescue is still accepting donations to help with vet costs associated with his care.

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY TO THIS GUY - Cookies ’n Creme aka C.C.! 🎂 Enjoy the video “blooper” while attempting to take video with the birthday headband and one of the boppers flew off. 🤣 See his reaction to having that thing on his head and finally a good pic with just one bopper. 🤣🤣🤣😍
C.C. was the first baby born on our farm and has always been a favorite.

Our first rescue alpaca, Zoe, is turning 21 years old on December 9. 🎂 She and her baby, as well as another female and her baby Coco, were sold to a farm whose two dogs killed Zoe’s baby and Coco’s mother. When Zoe and Coco came here, Zoe was very traumatized and very thin.
I was not sure she would make it but she did and she blossomed. She’s been our herd matriarch for many years and we have been very blessed to have her here.
So many visitors over the years have chosen Zoe as their favorite alpaca due to her beautiful fawn color and gentle demeanor.
We love you Zoe and hope your grace our pastures here for more years to come!!
