Y'ALL we got some really good news today about our local TNR efforts. I can't wait to share the details. In the meantime, PT and Aveo are still looking for a forever home! These sweet girls are 6 months old and fixed. They came from a junkyard and were born in a trunk of a car!! 😮 Please reach out for more info ☺️

ATTENTION! These two sweet sisters are fixed and looking for their forever homes! I would love for them to be home for Christmas.

Born 6/21/24, these girls are just shy of 6 months. Aveo (Tabby) loves to snuggle and purrs on eye contact. PT is a little more shy but loves to play and follows her sister's lead. Please message us if you'd like to meet them!!

URGENT! DONATIONS NEEDED. A Friend has reached out needing assistance with an emergency vet visit for their cat, Cake. She's been constipated and has started pooping blood and will need to be seen by a vet and possibly some imaging done. This could be anywhere from $200 to a thousand or more depending on what the blockage is. I will update with an estimate as I have it. Here is a note from Cake's papa:

My baby Cake has had issues with being backed up and constipated in the past, and lately she has been vomiting here and there, as well as having some blood in her stools. I need some help getting her the proper care she deserves so she can recover and get back to her healthy normal.

Peeta and Finnick are at their forever home! Peeta is finally recovered from ringworm and ready to join his brother Finnick (FKA Ford). I love seeing how happy and snuggly they are after starting out so afraid of people. These sweet, sweet boys found the best mommy.

This little man was a champ at the vet! They agreed it's ringworm and the very weird location (directly on his eye) means no topical treatments are viable. He'll be on a three week oral med treatment plan and then we will reassess if he's cleared to go home!! ❤️

The scariest two words to me are RING and WORM. Our poor sweet gray baby was missing some fur around his eye and I used the woods lamp and found this 😩 I know it's spooky season but this is too frightening!!

I got him into VCA early tomorrow morning, but we could really use help with the bill. The exam alone will be $55 and we learned from Anne's ringworm-aggedon that ringworm meds are $50 a bottle. And we're running low on kitten food. Please visit the link below for our Amazon wishlist or to donate!

In a regular rescue site, this would be a death sentence. They typically don't have the space, time, and money to treat such a contagious and long lasting fungal infection. At FoF, we're lucky to have the space and time to let this baby fight it off in isolation. And besides, I have a soft spot for wormy babies!

I really appreciate all your help. This will be a long road of medicine, quarantine, cleaning, and more cleaning. 😵‍💫 Hopefully this boy will be well enough to go home for Thanksgiving. ❤️

This is a first, MANX CATS! Cataloging a new colony this morning. 10 on this side of the street, but there is a much bigger group on the other side of the highway.

Last night I assessed this little boy and his brother? Cousin? For socialization. There were some good signs with this one, but the older kitten was very scared of me and difficult to handle. With the current over-crowding in shelters, there's no other option but to send the older kitten back outside.

As for this little nugget? I'm going to break my rule of only taking in two litters this year to give this guy a shot. Fingers crossed he warms up to people once he sees how good things are inside!

Aveo is a white and tabby girl, PT is the black and white girl who isn't too sure about me yet haha.

Still looking for a home for this sweet sweet shy girl! Sapphire is 9-10 months old, playful and snuggly, but easily startled by loud noises and movements and will hide. She loves other cats! She has been fixed, dewormed and flea treated and has her first rabies shot. Please share so we can find her a home!!

Sapphire has made such great progress over the last month!!
