Huck Finn Kennels is happy to announce that Julissa Parra was able to attend the Pet Boarding and Daycare Expo Convention in Burbank, California.

Julissa has been working at HFK since June, 2021. She became the Kennel Manager and has helped our kennel run efficiently. Julissa also used to be the manager for Kind K-9 Dog Training out of Bakersfield, California for four years. She has many skills and qualities that are important in the pet boarding industry. She has experience in behavioral modifications as well as basic pet management and care skills.

The Pet Boarding and Daycare Expo Convention was held from May 2-5, 2022. This Expo was a national conference that brought together professionals throughout the pet boarding and daycare industry. Julissa was able to attend this convention and trade show with some of the best pet care products and companies. Julissa had the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the nation. She brought home some new tips and tricks to incorporate into our facility at Huck Finn Kennels; including becoming certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. She obtained some industry insight, inspiration, and innovative ideas to work into our kennel facility.

Huck Finn Kennels will continually strive to provide unique, safe and quality Boarding and Daycare services for the Tri-City area.
