Marley and Niko’s Holiday Litter turns 2 today! Happy Birthday! Thank you, Grace of God families, for taking such good care of these heart healers! ❤️🐾🐾🥰
Happy Halloween, Everyone! We have been busy at Grace of God Ranch trying to get caught up on all the projects we never seem to get to with puppies 😂 But today is all play 🤗🐾🐾🥰
Goldendoodles are always by your side ❤️. Gabby takes every step along with Tim when he mows…every step! 🤣🐾🐾🥰
When life throws you lemons, you make lemonade! That has been our motto here at Grace Ranch for the past week. As difficult, and at times, down right scary, this has been, we’ve all come out the other side! Now, if we can just get this rain to let up a bit 🤪🐾🐾🥰
We have had nothing but rain here at Grace of God for the holiday weekend, but it hasn’t dampened these puppies’ spirits! They are learning that water falling from the sky isn’t scary, and can be down right fun! 🤗🐾🐾🥰
There’s always that one 🤪🐾🐾😂
Nothing is more fun than puppies just being puppies! 😍🐾🐾🥰
Puppy socialization AND curriculum! What a win! 😍🐾🐾🥰
So what do we learn from water bottles? First, we learn that the loud crackling is not only not scary, but it’s fun! We learn that we can make objects change in shape, be maneuvered. And we learn that things rolling around in the ground can provide lots of entertainment…for those participating and those just watching! 🤗🐾🐾🥰
And last, but far from the least, Fox Trot! 🎉🐾🐾🥰
It’s a Birthday Day for Grace of God! Happy Birthday to Marley’s Last Dance Litter! First up, Cha Cha 🎉🐾🐾🥰
So grateful for a little rain overnight to cool things off a bit. Quite a lot of thunder booming and the puppies did great! 🤗 The cool morning afforded us lots of time to explore new surfaces and smells 😍🐾🐾🥰
Happy Monday! Gabby’s Luau Litter is up and at ‘em working curriculum at the crack of dawn! Today? Ball pits and raised dog beds! 🤗🐾🐾🥰
One of the challenges our puppies will face out in the real world are steps. There seems to be one or two step challenges to get in or out of almost all homes, vets, etc. We introduce them to this skill using soft, padded steps that end with the reward of a slide! One, two, or three steps are the most they will tackle at a time until a year, and even this will be limited each day. While we do everything we can to eliminate genetic predisposition to hip dysplasia, 80% of these problems are actually environmental! Repetitive actions, excessive running, jumping, and stairs are the biggest contributors to hip problems as they stretch the ligaments that are so fragile until they’ve finished growing. 😉🐾🐾🥰
Unstable ground, movement, that sense of instability can be super scary for our pups. So we expose them to life’s uncertainties early, safely, and make it as fun as possible! 🤗🐾🐾🥰
