Ciera has been piloted by a young youth rider for barrels for the last few years. This mare helped her owner get from jogging the pattern to running the pattern. She has a smooth jog and a rocking lope. Her personality is very sweet and wants attention. Not marish. Been hauled all over and been used on trail rides. Ciera is a higher energy horse but can also rides relaxed.

***Ciera has gotten burned out from games. And can be a lot to handle. She has spent some months with me and has rode around great however she will test her riders and needs someone that knows what their doing. She potentially could be a trail horse or if someone experienced wants to get going back in barrels. Her price reflects this.

Confidence is a huge deal. Often times we’re so worried about the quality of a maneuver that we can take that confidence away. And then the maneuver gets even worse. Push and make it better, but know when to back off and not lose their confidence. –af

Keeping on with the introductions, here’s our next trainee BlueStar N Hollywood! BlueStar is a 2yo stallion heading towards a ranch show career. He is incredibly talented and with names like Walla Walla Whiz, Hollywood Dun It and the great Rooster he’s sure to be a cool one!

Successful couple of days at the Top Hand Cowgirl Challenge. Amanda and Smurf took home a buckle for winning the Ranch Sorting out of 50 riders. And placed top ten in the ranch trail and ranch pleasure. What a wonderful event that has a beautiful mission. Thank you to all the sponsors, Strait Rail Ranch for the facility and Breck Kruger for putting it on. And a big thank you to the Benjaminson Family for trusting me to pilot Smurf.

Aurielle Webster is moving back up north and taking over the c**t starting side of the business. C**t starting is a skill the requires extreme amount of patience, skill and experience. And seems to becoming a lost art. I am beyond thrilled to offer the public such a talented c**t starter that has extensive experience with western performance horses. Aurielle has rode under multiple trainers perfecting her craft and offers years of experience and knowledge.
