It is almost time and we are ready! Archery season for hunters begins on Saturday, September 13, 2025, so of course Douglas Lions Club has the 26th Annual Big Buck Contest all set up for deer hunting season kick off.
Tickets are available NOW at locations listed on poster below for the Archery season hunters to get their tickets before they hunt.
Prizes galor as always. Great cash prizes for top scoring deer and some will even receive free taxidermy services. AND we have awesome prizes for our raffle as well! Check out our poster for all the details. Hunter rules will be in next post.

We are wide open working on this years deer and getting caught up on these ducks and birds!!! We’ve got a ton going on everyday!!! If you still have a skull mount from Ruis Processing that you haven’t got please give me or Jeff a call. The shop is buldging at the seams. We can arrange for pick up any day. If We’re not there Logan Merritt💪 is at the shop working hard every day!! He can take care of you if We’re not there. Thank you all for your business and patience with our turnaround times!!

Truly thankful to be able to work on some African trophies. I have a few more to come. This awesome Gemsbok was an exciting piece to make come together and gets to be delivered in time for Thanksgiving. I’m so thankful for Patient customers that allow me to share their memories and create trophies for them to cherish for many years to come.
