Yahtzee’s first weekend in Shawnee and first ride with more than 1 other horse . He was a little overstimulated at times but settled in. The only way to gain experience is to go out and get it.

It’s slow coming with competition dance season in full force.. but even with the mud and winter coat starting to shed can we just admire this handsome little guy for a second. 😍

I admit. It’s been hard to keep up.
Aria wanted to try competition dance this year … Jacob started a new job and is on nights.. I’m working on multiple big horses and wedding planning on top of my regular work.. all the excuses.
We finally got Yahtzee out to work on some steering today . Thank goodness for the barn to be able to avoid the mud .
He has taken way more time than id planned but it’s all our fault for being busy, not his ( clearly ) .
He responded quite well to her today and I think the extra time did some great things for his mind.
