❄️ DOG FOSTERS NEEDED AHEAD OF WINTER STORM! ❄️
To help keep shelter dogs safe during the upcoming winter storm, we are urging the community to consider fostering.
Here is what you need to know about being a winter storm foster with Clay County Animal Services:
❄️You do not have to be a Clay County resident to foster adult dogs. However, you do need to be a county resident to foster puppies.
❄️ Clay County Animal Services will provide food for the duration of the winter storm. A wire crate may be provided for adult dogs if needed, but supplies are limited.
❄️ Drop-off time will be scheduled with the shelter once the winter storm has passed.
We will be open today, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, for anyone interested in fostering a pet temporarily.
During these freezing conditions, we ask residents not to bring animals into the shelter unless it is an absolute emergency.
