The 2 kittens that were born in July are so much fun to watch while they play and climb. They are now 4 teks old and started to use the litterbox.
The gray Tabbies are loving, playful and fun to watch. They are about 10 weeks old now and super cute. The Rescue has 4 new kittens with beautiful markings. They are still scared of people but they will come around. I hope you will enjoy my little Video Clip.

I received more packages the following day with Donations. It was like Christmas, opening the packages being curious what's inside. You all have no idea how much you helped Cats In Harmony Rescue, but mainly the kittens out. Some packages came without a Gift Receipt in it with the senders name on it but here is the video clip to say THANK YOU for your Donation.

Cats In Harmony Rescue is a small Rescue and Fundings only come in through Donations and Adoptions but usally all this goes towards the Veterinarian Care. The Rescue depends on Foster Homes and Donations just like any other Rescue does or they can't help cats in need. After my post last week Amazon packages were arriving Monday and Tuesday. We are so thankful for each and every one of you that donated and/or shared the post. You have no idea how much you all helped, no matter how big or small the order was. What matters is that you did help❣️

Little Update on Shadow: After trying pretty much ever rubber and silicon nipple I had in my sortiment with Shadow he decided this morning to choose the biggest nipple I bought. I am happy that he was able to suck some formula on his own without my help. He did drink a total of 14ml with my help for breakfast. He isn't over the hill yet so please say a little prayer for Shadow.
I hope you don't mind if I share special moments like this with you? I just love watching how loving they react to each other.
How can a pet owner be so heartless?
I read often the question "Do Shelters or Rescues have purebred dogs available for Adoption?" Sadly the answer is "YES".
I hear often people say "People buying a pet will never surrender or dump it because they paid a lot of money for it!" That's not always the case!!!
Delilah's Story
When I was a little puppy you wanted to buy me from a breeder because I was so cute and because my parents were beautiful Giant Schnauzer Show-Dog's, the breeder wanted $2500.- for me. You paid $1000.- without the Pedigree and took me home. For the first four/five month you loved and spoiled me but suddenly I had to stay outdoors by myself 24/7 while the other smaller Schnauzer you have got to stay indoors with you. There was a reason for the word GIANT in my breed description.
From then on I never heard a friendly word, no loving touch. I wasn't groomed for a long, long time so the day I was rescued my fur was sticky and stinky. Over 1 1/2 years I got only tablescraps to eat. You couldn't even keep my vaccinations up to date.
April 18th 2024 - I was rescued. I got petted and loved on. I got a bath and was groomed, I got all my vaccinations. I got a new collar and leash and I took a road trip to my Foster Home. There I got to meet all the other fur-babies and then I played together with a lot of dogs outdoors. I got healthy dog food and at night I slept in a big crate with a thick soft pillow. I am 2 years old now and my life just began. Thank you for rescuing me.
To my former owner... What you did to me is unexcusable! Please don't ever get another pet!

I bottle raised uncountable puppies and several kittens and it wasn't always easy to let them go but if you bottle feed a single puppy from day one on and you know the puppies heartbreaking story, the bond is getting stronger and stronger. I couldn't send her to someone that's a total stranger to her. I think this would have broken both of our hearts in pieces. I pray my family will understand.
Where did those eleven weeks go?
Mandy is in this video clip 11 weeks old and the time did fly by like never before. The first week I was worried if she gonna make it but she got bigger and rounder and now I was worried she would blow up from drinking so much formula. Lol
The next weeks flew by like never before. I took Mandy with me everywhere I went. She met many people and made many of them smile. When Mandy is with me I am much more relaxed and happier then without her. We both had a good time and I hope we can continue making road trips together like that. I got to admit - I am in love with this girl.

The siblings are 5 month old now and were bottle raised. They grew up with other kittens and dogs. Gremlin and Ninja are super sweet kittens. They love to play, explore, cuddle and snuggle next to you. Both are up to date on vaccinations and neutered. They are litterbox trained and indoor cats ONLY !

Breakfast with Mandy
Good morning and happy Sunday from our house to yours. Trying to find the puppy food Mandy likes wasn't easy. I tried puppy food with small bites and Mandy only munched on them and left 80% in the bowl. This morning I gave her one piece of the dog food all our other dog eat and that's the one Mandy finally likes. It's dry food from puppy to senior age. Mandy still likes to have her bottle of goat milk when she wakes up at night and I enjoy holding her in my arms while she is drinking out of the bottle.
Today Amanda is 4 weeks old!
Mandy is growing so fast. Her eyes and ears are open, she starts growling a little and surprised me with a loud bark while she was sleeping. The cutest thing is when she wags her tail. She started teething a couple of days ago and I can feel the tips of all 4 canines when she sucks on my finger. She is such a sweet puppy. She played last night for the first time in the little jungle gym. Mandy and my dog Nikita played on the floor and they both were to cute together. Bottle feeding is going well as you can see but with her starting to walk now more she will walk and roll this off in no time I hope. Mandy slept almost through the night. She had one bottle only between 10PM and 6AM. I can't wait to see what she looks like at 8 weeks of age. Hope you follow Mandy and enjoy the short video!
Three weeks old already
Mandy (Amanda) is now 3 weeks old. Her eyes are wide open and she is wabbeling around. Of course Nikita has to put her nose into the video to check on Mandy.

What did you do now?
Lulu went to visit the Christmas Market at 406 Lee Blvd. and she put a smile on so many peoples faces, even Santa Claus smiled. I was holding my breath because I was afraid she would pee on Santa's lap. She didn't. 😂
I welcomed 6 new Foster Puppies last Thursday. These babies are about 4-5 weeks old and super sweet. Thankfully Dana's Rescue was able to save their lives in the last moment. I am still trying to find some fitting name for them, some we didn't use before. If you can think of 6 names (4 boys, 2 girls) then SAY HELLO to these cuties and add your name ideas in comments too.
Please remember, Rescues need Foster Homes and Fundings to continue to help saving lives just like theirs.

There is not a thing as a "Oops Litter".
If your female is not spayed it's just a matter of time until she gets pregnant. No puppy or kitten deserves to be killed because of this. Please be a responsible pet owner and get your pets fixed. Shelters and Rescues are overwhelmed with unwanted pets, lack of Fosters and low/no Fundings and it will get worse after Christmas. Please be the solution, not the problem!
