Olive had her first try on the treadmill today. No surprise this little monkey enjoyed every moment. We are going slow and for short periods only as she is still young. At this stage it's more about confidence and socialization in preparation for conditioning. We really do enjoy having a DogPacer treadmill at work!

It has been an insanely good October for the Duskland crew. We have had some amazing wins and placements! Thanks go to the judges who find our dogs and owners who dedicate their time, effort, and love to their dogs.

We have some serious goals for 2025. But for now - we remember...

Montgomery KC
- Orson wins the Bred By class
- Pocket takes 1st Award of Merit
- Ralph takes Select Dog

Howard County
- Olive takes her first BOB win
- Ralph takes BOB

Doswell week 1+2 (including the specialties)
- Percy snags some singles and a 3pt Major
- Orson wins his bred-by class
- Flora and Olive place in the bred by classes
- Pocket takes multiple BOS awards and WINS BEST OF BREED over the #1 Border Terrier in the country at the second TerrieR specialty.

Additionally, all the pups from the "rock the vote" litter are settling into their new homes nicely. We have decided to keep the red collar girl with us at Duskland and have named her "Edna".

We look forward to a select few local shows before we step in the ring for 2025. We have 2 entries for Westminster ... fingers crossed we get in!

Big news this weekend for the Duskland BTs!!!

Sammy and Pocket just won Best Junior in Tennessee!!! Then we have BOS in breed, OHBOB, an OH Group 1, and RBOHS!!!

Lauren and Lucy are busy getting qualifying ribbons in scentwork!!! They won two legs towards container searches and one towards buried!!!

So incredibly proud of our Duskland Dogs and Owners!!!

Quinley and Orson's Quartet are growing like weeds! Eyes are slowly opening and we have had our first proper growl and bark! They will be playing around in no time! Time to think about prep for potty training!

This morning, Quinley whelped 4 beautiful grizzle and tan puppies! We had 3 girls and 1 boy! Everyone is eating and adjusting to life on the outside. Quinley is being the best mom diligently cleaning everyone and making sure they are fed!

It was a busy day for us at the vets! Thanks to Animal Clinic of Gainesville for taking such good care of our girls!

Quinley revealed 4 little otters on xray and is ready to whelp soon! Although the temperature checks are annoying, the peanut butter lickimat makes up for it!

Flora tagged along to finish her health testing. Her patellas are normal and we are waiting to get confirmation from OFA on her hips - but they look quite excellent indeed!

We have puppies on board! Quinley was bred to Orson at the beginning of the month and I am so excited for the second generation of Duskland Bred-By BTs. Keeping my fingers crossed for a girl to stay with us! We have a few deposits, but are still accepting applications.

Those little eggs were all clustered around her bladder - but we are thinking maybe 5-6. A more accurate count will be done on 02/02 when we go for Xray!
