✨2024 is coming to an end… ✨
I won’t lie to yall, it was a TOUGH year 🥲 With the economy being pretty terrible, we are hanging by a thread over here and doing our absolute best to continue doing what we love. Please remember, we are a small, family owned business operating 98% of the time by just me! We often work 24/7 for 21+ days in a row and very often, much more than that! We put our heart and soul into your pups and this business and we know we aren’t the only small business that has struggled this year! 😭

The next post will show the 27 new dogs we trained this year! Be sure to check it out! 🐾🎯 We miss & love them all and are so proud of them and their owners! 🥹🫶🏼

We are beyond grateful for another year doing what we love more than anything! Helping dogs and their owners become successful together through quality training & knowledge as well as guiding them on how to build an unbreakable bond! ❤️

Here’s a recap of the last few years:
2021-37 new dogs trained with 4 returning boarders.
2022- 48 new dogs trained with 14 boarders.
2023- 41 new dogs trained with 20 returning boarders.
2024- 27 new dogs trained with 23 returning boarders.

We continue to remain humble and so blessed to have the opportunity to work with so many phenomenal dogs, build awesome relationships with new owners and their pups and to allow them somewhere to board after training that they are familiar and comfortable with, with trainers who know and love them! 🐶

To the person who was told: “you’re doing it wrong.” With no explanation as to why or how to improve. To the person who was judged for using an e-collar, prong, clicker, choker chain, harness, etc. with no tips or help on how to use them properly or when/where to apply those tools. To the person who uses no tools and was judged for that as well... we are all doing our best and anyone in this industry knows that it is always a learning process!! The learning truly never stops! 🐾

As a trainer, what might work for one dog, doesn’t always work for the other. Ultimately after I give the dog back to its owner, it’s on them to run with the information I’ve given them and apply the knowledge to use the tools I’ve given them (or not). If not, that’s ok!! As long as you are working your dog and trying to use the information I shared and spending time building a bond and trust, I’m good with it!

Keep doing you and doing things how you see fit. Your dog just wants to spend time with you, anyways. But, don’t be afraid to get clarification on how to use that tool or reach out for help. Don’t let your dog go down the rabbit hole of ridiculous behaviors because of your lack of knowledge. 😉
