My name is Halley S. Anderson, and I am the owner of Angel Oak Kennels.
I brought home my first German Shepherd almost 3 years ago and I can still remember how astounded I was when I realized how amazing this breed was. Smart, loyal, driven, kind, playful, protective, I could go on and on, there aren’t enough words to describe this magnificent breed. I wanted to be the absolute best owner for this pup so it led me to begin researching and learning everything I could to better understand the German Shepherd Dog. The more I read the more involved I became. I started out with training, I have personally trained all of my dogs with verbal and silent commands. My researching continued and took a turn when I started looking into the actual breeding aspect of it all. There were SO MANY things to be considered when breeding these dogs to ensure only the best outcomes. As I look around there are so many people breeding dogs for the money alone and it breaks my heart, honestly. I believe in breeding to better the breed. With that being said all of my pets are completely vet check, up to date on all health care needs, vaccinations, and testing, hip testing done, and only superb temperaments. All puppies leaving my home will have their most current vaccinations (dependent upon age of departure), f***l exams, healthcare check ups, and will be started on basic training. I wish everyone could have the experience of owning a German Shepherd but they are not meant for everyone. These dogs take a lot of time and devotion, but I can promise if you are able to provide it you will NOT be disappointed.
A German Shepherd is truly a life long loyal companion.
