I lost David today. I got him earlier this year with 8 other cats, 7 siblings and their mom. The lady that I got them from had said her sister mentioned throwing them off a bridge.

This is the only picture I ever took. I rarely take pictures anymore. I used to take lots...I'm not sure why I rarely do anymore.

The weather turned cold here for most of the USA, and I tried to make warm safe spots for everyone. I put up a heatlamp in one place, walled off a little area near a shelf with a used tarp. The tarp had some little tears, but I used it. They were near the bottom, and I cut nice hole to go through. David got tangled in a tear, a small hole that he was twice the size of. His entire body got through, except his hips where he got twisted around the waist.

I keep thinking if I had checked this morning, if I had used a new tarp...That cat was such a happy guy, he sat on my shoulder, bit my hair, licked and bit my face, purred louder than any cat I've ever heard...to find him like that...

I debated on sharing this, figuring someone would blame me, but it is my fault, not intentional... I've always rigged up things, made sure they seemed safe.. if I doubted them I re-did it another way.

He was close to 1 year old.

He was a good cat.

They must comply with special record-keeping and holding provisions to protect against pet theft and to give owners time to recover lost pets.”

The middle part of this is saying that in states where the direct sale from the Pound is illegal... that they simply use a middle man.

Scott Derderian Keely Ostrowsky Weatherall Michael Weatherall Jana Budoff Maynard Scott Clough & Dale Hauser are my animal heroes of the month for August!
They donated to my fundraiser to get my foster overflow cats spayed & neutered. The fundraiser was super glitchy with screwed up links because it somehow got mixed in with an old fundraiser I did. But all has straightened out and I received their generous donations which gave me the courage to strike a deal with the humane society and we will be spaying and neutering over 20 cats over the next several weeks!
Funds are still tight but these big hearted and higher minded people got us launched and the future looks brighter for us all!

I love you all! My fosters however are probably not too happy with y'all for funding their "chop chop"... Lol But thats okay. The will understand better when they grow up.
Now all thats left to do for them individually is to find them "forever homes" or fosters, so pass them around when I make their posts... Which I have neglected to do lately bc I am so busy with the 30 in my care.

For my wonderful friends who donated to my cat rescue... I finally received your donation money. "gofundme" had the new fundraiser mixed up with the old one somehow but it got straightened out. I had issues similar the last time too. But never before these2.
Anyway, I THANK YOU more than you know. I worked out a deal with the Humane Society so that I can get them ALL spayed & neutered over the next couple of months!
You guys are all heroes!
