Candy Litter Update
Whew! There are simply not enough hours in the day lately. Seems like I keep misjudging when I’ll have time to get on social media lately 🙈 This past week was crazy busy with a lot of events from end of school year, daughter birthday, and gatherings, all the while making sure that each furbaby gets equal time with us, every single day. This is the very first chance I’ve had to actually get on social media & post an update! 😅
Puppies are 7 weeks old and are having the time of their lives learning about a lot of things. It is truly a privilege watching them grow. Regrettably, between the ongoings, the weather and my pesky disabilities, I was not able to secure any viable individual photos (all too dark or overexposed from flash with red eyes- yuck) so I just focused on getting videos. Was able to seize an opportunity for a group photo though!! 😄 Thank you to my daughter, Calena, for taking the photo on Friday evening 😄💜

(Info: The puppies had a full bath on Thursday morning, May 30th, and they had the “zoomies” as a result. As always, they love using me as their personal jungle gym 😂 Hope y’all enjoy the silliness as much as I do. 😄🥰)
Late Afternoon Fun - Candy Litter - 5/31/24

(Info: We try to bring the puppies outside daily -weather permitting- with all of the safety protocols in place and try to choose a different “spot” every time to expose them to various terrains, sounds and smells. As always, the puppies had a good time. Bazooka in particular was a bit tired though 😂 he’s an afternoon napper. This was taken Friday afternoon, May 31st.)
The puppies get to go to their fur-ever homes starting this Wednesday afternoon, June 5th. They will all have their final check up & vaccinations on Tuesday afternoon, June 4th. It is a bittersweet time for us. Bitter, because we are going to miss them very, very much, and this is Gemma’s last litter. Sweet, because we are excited for owners to meet their furbabies & know they are in for many years of delight, joy and fun with their furbaby.
The puppies current size line up are as follows:
Butterfinger - Currently is the largest
Bazooka - Second largest
Ring Pop and Jelly Bean are neck to neck, although Ring Pop has gained some height over Jelly Bean.
All are doing GREAT on solids, are completely comfortable and enjoying an hour of relaxation in their kennels at meal times. We have stepped up on noise desensitization to prepare them for different things that they may or may not encounter later on. The once a week bath & nail clippings are a total breeze. All love the snuggles on the sofa or/and the bed in late evenings before they get put back in the pen for the night. They have also been enjoying visits from our small circle of very frequent house visitors & helpers of various ages (all safety measures such as disinfecting beforehand are always taken) 💕
Keeping my fingers crossed for a sunny day photoshoot this week before any leave where it doesn’t cloud up outside the moment I get the chance to set up! 🙏
