Meet Delaney, a 6 month old, spayed female mix who is about 33 pounds. Delaney and her brother were saved from a rural Kentucky shelter and are now in search of a home here in MD, or surrounding states. Delaney is a sweet girl, doing well with crate training and potty training, however may have a bit of regression upon acclimating to a new environment. Delaney has been fostered with multiple dogs in her foster home. She is sweet and easy-going and will make a wonderful pet for a loving family.

A note from Delaney’s foster mom, “Delaney is a bit shy at first, but each day gets more comfortable. She is really a sweetheart❤️! Loves being outside just romping around in the yard doing her little leaps of excitement to get her stick or ball. Entertains herself with any toy plushy, squeaky, crinkly and just a good old bone or antler, they all make her so happy. No potty accidents and sleeps through the night in her crate! Some family will be so lucky to get this little lady!”

Reba is a 25 pound, spayed one year old girl who is super sweet and friendly! She and her foster sister have really hit it off and she would do well in a home with other dogs or as an only. Reba is doing well overall with potty training, but even fully potty trained dogs can regress when entering a new environment. She is doing well with crate training, and will make a bit of noise for a few minutes but settles in quickly.

We would prefer an adopter with bulldog experience, as they can be prone to overheating as well as other health issues. Although Reba is healthy and just had her one year wellness visit, we want to ensure that she is going to an adopter who has the background knowledge and financial means to ensure the best home possible. Reba is not a couch potato, and enjoys going for walks, but will need mental stimulation as well to keep her busy.

Adoptable Bella has been with Fairy Tails Rescue for almost 2.5 YEARS and spent over a year previously in the shelter!! Please share to help our girl find her family! 🩷

Bella is a 4.5 year old girl who loves to play ball and spend time with her favorite people. She spent over a year in the shelter before we stepped up to rescue her and she came into rescue as a 60-pound bouncy girl without any manners or training. She can be excitable and greets new people with a loud, deep bark, which can be intimidating to some, but then she settles in and just wants to be loved all over. Bella loves to go for walks and is well on her way to making walks enjoyable. She does fine with other dogs when properly introduced slowly, but needs someone who will give her time to slowly acclimate to her new surroundings. Bella is looking for a patient, consistent adopter who will help her continue to build confidence and work on her training. She is very food motivated and will do almost anything for a treat. Bella does not need to be crated and can be left loose in the house without getting into trouble but will go into a crate willingly if needed. She has a lot of love to give and we are really hoping to find her a forever home soon! It may be easy for some to pass Bella by because she needs continued training and slower introductions, but if you give Bella a true, fair chance, you’ll find she is very eager to please and would love nothing more than to be your best little buddy. We are in desperate need of a foster for Weston- our fosters always have the first option to adopt if the pup turns out to be a great fit! We have one week to find a foster in MD (or surrounding areas). We have a tranport of animals coming up from a Kentucky shelter where they unfortunately have to euthanize often, simply due to lack of kennel space. Please help us save one more.

Weston has been with a shelter volunteer in a foster home in hopes that we can add him to our transport, so he is already getting experience with crate and potty training, and loves all of the dogs in his foster home. Weston is 19 pounds and 4-5 months old. He is a typical, sweet puppy who deserves a chance! We are out of foster options and we need YOU in order to help Weston. Meet Max, a sweet and playful 30 pound, 2 year-old beagle mix, who is ready to find a family to share his love and energy with. Max is a true lover at heart, and he’s always happy to play with anyone—humans and dogs alike! He also does very well with the free roam bunny in his foster home and we think he would do just fine with other types of animals with proper introductions. He is curious about the world and loves to explore every new corner with excitement and joy.

Max is doing well with crate and potty training. He is also learning basic commands quickly as he is very food motivated.
