Cancer Sucks and Gracie agrees! Wanted to hop on and give a little update on our sweet girl. Yesterday morning she only ate half her breakfast and then this morning she refused her food waiting to talk to our vet tomorrow to see if she wants to see her or does she feel that the cancer has progressed and we are in our final stages. This absolutely stinks because Gracie has been such a great girl and a pleasure to have. Positive vibes please 🙏

Brie's labwork came back and all her values came back normal. The cancer on her hind end is localized and has very little chance of metastasizing, because she'll be 14 in April and is wide open we are choosing not to do surgery. The surgery could be invasive and cutting into a muscle etc and the recovery time of her being crated and quite we choose to leave it alone, it doesn't bother her in the least and sure as heck doesn't slow her down at all. We will continue to keep an eye on it and measure it to see if it grows but right now we're letting her live just like the wild child she is.
