Dixie and Beau reunited with three of their babies this afternoon. We were so happy to get to visit Remy (Willie Nelson), Jax (Johnny Cash), and Shelby (Dolly Parton for a hot second).

And then there was one. Alan’s new mommy picked him up this morning, so Garth gets some time to adjust to being an only child before he goes home tomorrow. It’s so bittersweet that this journey is almost over.

Jamey is now Maximus and has gone home with his new family. Alan goes home Friday, and Garth has found a new home and should go home this weekend!

The puppies are 8 weeks old! Martina (now Sloane), Reba (now Joni), June (who gets to stay June), Johnny (now Jax), Waylon (still working on his new name), Dolly (now Shelby), and Willie (not pictured/still working on a name) have all gone home to their new families. We are so happy that they are all in amazing homes and will be so loved!

We also graduated to a bigger and more open play pen and large crate tonight. We are doing a few minutes of individual crate training too, but this will be our first night in the large kennel together.
