So- today I did a thing!!
Meet Bubba!
Bubba’s mom asked if I would groom him- Not a problem … I said🤪💕
Who doesn’t love a good challenge on a Monday 😊
Bubba had recently gotten into some burrs, personally, there was a little more than burrs going on but we will just keep that to ourselves 🥰🫶🤦🏼‍♀️
Sometimes you have to just start over. !!
I would never have dreamed of shaving down this beautiful hair ball but it was absolutely the most humane thing to do.
This proved to be quite an accomplishment considering all the folds. 😳🦭🐶🐾
In the end I think Bubba was most grateful for his new clean shaved, matt free, and burr-less look!
During our spa time together…I absolutely fell 😍 🥰 💕
Can wait to see him again ❤️
I am scheduling his sister for a bath and blowout in the next few weeks. 😊

I thought I would put up some pictures of my dogs on my grooming page.
Bear is our pyredoole- 16 months old
Brynlee is a standard poodle 6 years old
Ella and Ziva our silver lab’s 7&8 years old
And Penny - who we are doing “hospice care” for - she is 15 ❤️
I have a helper for my dogs during the day but they do stay downstairs with us for part of the day in their area…

The lab’s I actually co-parent with Caleb’s Dad! 🐶🐶

We also have a Kitty- and yes that is his name - Kitty 😊

Maybe I needed all the dogs after losing my mother? Maybe I needed to feel that useful?
What I do know for sure is I am so grateful for the unconditional love of them all and how much they mean to everyone in our house.
Bear is our only dog that is not a rescue-
They are the rescue’s that rescued me!! ❤️

And that my friends, is my life! 😊❤️💕

Today we had our visit form the Senior home 😉
I have a wonderful client from Madison who rescues VERY senior dogs. Bless her! 🙏🐶 This is half of her senior’s.
Everyone needs a spa day!!
Everyone deserves to be pampered!!
They all have a little more pep in their step by the end of the day.

Ms. Lexi’s day at the salon!

So many steps go into a through grooming appointment.
Not all groomers do things the same way, but this is the process I like to do.
😊🐶
Prep work- including before photo
Bath- Blueberry facial, shampoo and conditioning
Blowout - with shine enhancing detangling spray’s
Groom- haircut, clipper work and scissor finishing
Final brushing and some pumpkin spice cologne ( or whatever flavor) and the After Photo 💕

A Pyrenees-doodle - pyre-doodle!
What a treat it was to introduce her to her first grooming appointment 🐶🐾❤️
With doodle’s it is never too early! Especially because they will have a lifetime of grooming ahead of them. ✂️🐶🛁
Today little Ms. Emmie was introduced to a bath, nail trim, blow-out, sanitary trim, and an adorable “puppy clip”.
Emmie and her Mom will now be on a grooming schedule and Emmie will begin the journey of being getting comfortable with her grooming routine ❤️ 😊🐶🐾

Some summer pictures of the adorable dogs we have done!!

It has been a emotional few weeks. My son was in the ICU with pneumonia and I had to reschedule so many of my clients.. which was difficult.😞
When you need to be in two places at once. Working for yourself is wonderful except when moments like these happen. 😩
My son is home and feeling much better! Thank you for all of the prayers sent our way! 🙏

Scheduling is getting back to normal. Slowly
I am so grateful for the wonderful clients that I have. Dogs and humans 🐶😊🐶
