📢Seminar Announcement 📢

Back by popular demand!! Denise Alvord will be joining us to instruct a 3-day trailing seminar. This will be held at various locations in Western Snohomish County Feb 28th – March 2nd, 2025.

As always, trails will be tailored to each team’s experience level.

Photo dump from 2 full days helping trailing dogs (with Prospect Canine help) in Maine. Amazing two days with frigid temperatures, but motivated and solid teams putting in the work.

As usual, we were too busy training and did not get many pictures.

That said, 4 police teams from NH had 4 solid days with Denise.

2 to 5 tracks per day, despite the weather. Articles upon articles and some seriously cool narcotics hides. Even a few building searches in the mix.

Thank you Prospect Canine for hosting this event. We will try and do it alittle earlier next year, but none the less it was a super cool multidiscipline training event!

**UPDATE: Colorado Task Force 1 (CO-TF1), October 7, 12:15 pm, MDT**
CO-TF1 has completed its work in North Carolina and is now headed to Florida ahead of Hurricane Milton. The team is expected to arrive in the Orlando area around 7 pm eastern time tonight. They will join with six other FEMA USAR (urban search and rescue) teams already in place.
Milton has rapidly intensified to a Category 5 hurricane, with winds up to 175 mph, and could likely impact the same areas hit by Hurricane Helene.

Motivated teams in VT, pleasure to train with you all and hope to be back soon!

The VT Police Canine Association hosted a wilderness air scent seminar for the NH Fish and Game Canines as well as our own VT-TF1 Canines. Members from both teams are part of the association who assist canine teams across the state.
This seminar helped prepare the canine teams for wilderness certification. We would like to extend our thanks to Denise from CO-TF1 for her talented instruction.

Super time in NH helping with Detection!

Thank you from Crosswinds Canine for helping with the narcotics class this week. As expected several very long days, but lots of progression and quality hides and set ups!
