I love this enrichment idea for classes. This is Arlo’s snuffle bag, it has toys and other fun things to snuffle around for treats inside. Because doesn’t every dog love checking out what’s in the training bag during class? You can easily take it anywhere and use it for decompression and enrichment for your dog during training.
Running Contact work today in agility class!
Artemis, 4 1/2 months old GSD, and Jasmine, 1 year old Lab, started their level 4 Control Unleashed class and did amazing at Home Depot utilizing their skills they have learned.
Finn has been here for board and train for almost a month and now we are going to test run his skills a little at an agility trial. The field is only 80 feet away and dogs crated as close as 15 feet away. I lowered my criteria to just calm in the crate and rewarding any redirection toward me after I release him to go sniff the grass. He came out and immediately decided that he didn’t want to and redirected, so we had a love party!
