Be aware of this scam going around

⚠️‼SCAM ALERT‼️⚠️
We have received calls from multiple people letting us know that within the past couple of days, they received a call from scammers pretending to be one of our staff members stating they found an injured animal and took it to "our" vet and needed money to pay for emergency medical care, giving a random personal Venmo account to pay. Another stated they had found their missing dog & needed to collect the reward offered. Thankfully both of these people realized this was a scam.
Both of these people have missing animals with reward offered publicly.
The scammer is using the name: Jack Richardson & gave phone (515) 349-3822 - THIS IS NOT ANIMAL LIFELINE...if you should received a call stating it is an Animal Lifeline of Iowa representative regarding a lost/injured animal, please call us directly at 515-285-7387.
SADLY, animal rescue is not immune from scammers 😢😡

Anyone lose a saddlebag to a Harley. Someone called me had a zues flier in it.

Still not a word on any sighting

Day 17. $1000 reward no questions asked. Check underneath decks, porches, and in sheds. Honestly starting to think he's in country or someone has him at this point.
There is a group of us meeting tomorrow around 4pm at st paul church or fareway parking lot to search the neighborhood. Pm me if you are interested. Thanks in advance and everyone have a great weekend!
