Thank you Fort Huachuca/ Southern Arizona for trusting me with your animals the last 6 years!!

My family is set to leave Arizona. In preparation for our move, I’ve officially closed my books.

If you’ve been a regular whose keys I held on to for spontaneous travel, I’ll be reaching out this week to return your key.

If you’ve already scheduled with me, don’t worry those dates are set for care.

More hiding kitty wins this week!

Opie and Bentley have been in my care for over a year but typically stay hidden when I visit.
Over the summer their house got painted and they spent that time in one room. Opie let me love on him a bit when he had lack of hiding spaces. Today, they’ve got full reign of the house and both decided to come out during a visit and watch me.
Their mama told me about their treat stash so I could reward them for being brave and interacting ❤️

Saturday called for the very best time management with morning visits. Then after everyone was taken care of, Latte and I enjoyed the Doggie Dip! Fort Huachuca MWR and the wonderful sponsors put on an amazing event!

When the shy kitties get confident enough to grace me with their presence we celebrate 🎉

Luna is a first time kitty whose mama works from home. She and her brother are used to attention but she’s been hiding but finally came out for some treats and to investigate my shoes.

Spagetti’s family has been with me for over 2 years. If it wasn’t for the food and litter box being used, I’d say they didn’t actually have a cat. This morning he peeked around the corner while the pups were getting treats and then came up to the counter to eat. It’s the 2nd time I’ve ever seen him!

Watering the patio flowers includes watering the retriever too. It’s the rules.

I attended the grand re-opening and dedication of the MWD Bronco Dog Park on Fort Huachcua earlier this week. 🐾

While there I noticed the lack of toys. I decided to spread some joy with toy bins for all the good doggos to share and pooper scoopers so their owners can be good humans too ❤️
