What the world needs now is love sweet love and wiggles! Our @magical_canine_connections_aat teams spent the morning with therapy dogs Phoenix and Willow teaching the kindergarten kids how to be kind to and safe around dogs (animals). We did a wiggle out before meeting the pups. We had so much fun! The kindergarten kids were so sweet and smart. It was a beautiful way to start the day. Teaching kindness, spreading love and having fun together. Meet Critical Incident Stress Management (CISMTD) therapy dog Pez. Pez provides emotional wellness support to his fire rescue team at North Lauderdale Station 34. His handler Lieutenant Carrasco is proud of the stress relief Pez is providing to the department. Everything from loading up in emergency vehicles to providing much needed snuggles and some funny antics when Pez is at work its hard to have a bad day. The North Lauderdale Fire Rescue Department has a mission to prevent the loss of life and minimize property damage by providing outstanding service in the areas of Fire Suppression and Prevention, Emergency Medical Services, Life Safety Code Enforcement, Public Education, Fire Investigation, and Professional Development Training.
