A sad story, but with a happy ending! This is Aurora on her way home from her 9 day vet hospital stay. As you know, we mated her weeks ago, but instead of getting kittens, she got pyometra. It’s a bacterial infection in the uterus and most vets have to just remove the uterus. Thankfully we have Dr Barstow as our vet and she is a specialist in animal reproduction (theriogenologist). It took 9 days of hospital care, but our girl is home and just as feisty as ever!
I was so happy to get that call today saying please come get her because she’s trying to take over the clinic! That’s our girl!!!

We just picked up Aurora from her mating vaca with Tumi. Now…we wait. It’s going to be a long three weeks!!! Do we have kittens or not? Stay tuned!

Aurora had to come see what all the fuss is about. Nine tiny new kittens! Two came last night and seven arrived today, on Auroras birthday!
We are all excited! Check them out at Mazi Maine C**ns and pick out your new kitten. These babies are already being spoken for fast.
