Best 48 hours ever! (Other than zero sleep)For those of you are still asking about Daddy & who did not watch the whole video posted on my personal page or on here, the last 2 puppies AND THEN Big Daddy Kane were all trapped separatel thru the night! Now for poor mama because she's wandering around out there by herself, & is in more of a danger now with baby Daddy around literally protecting her.

A glimpse of our last 24 hours in Montura. Still here on stakeout, waiting to see if feral mama comes around looking for her completely dog-napped family.
Poor Mama. Shes definitely gonna be the hardest. Shes very street & knows what to avoid & she was spooked by the new huge trap when she saw it last night but its gonna be her primary food source. This just has to happen before her next Heat. UGHHHHH!!!

Building a new trap tonight since Mama & Big Daddy FINALLY brought the final 2 puppies to the new food station. We were very worried after seeing the pack of Cats & then the panther & hadn't seen tiny black pup in 3 weeks. But mama is ready to cut the cord. I knew they were feeling out the new station for the last 8 days, making sure it was safe before bringing them to show them where to eat. They knew the Bobcats & Panther were a danger & would NOT bring them to the old trap. But today they were READY at 8:30am. First they went to station #1, got a few left over bites from the 1,000 raccoons overnight, then headed to the new station #2 & got a couple of bites of what was left over from the 1,000 raccoons. Here's a little clip of the cutie pies. We will never give up on a dog, or puppies. This "hobby" is extremely hard,emotionally tolling, frustrating, time-consuming, financially impossible, & life consuming, but we will ALWAYS fight the hardest fight & jump the highest hurdles until they're safe.

Abandoned house dog update. Sister went to the rescue yesterday.
I kept little boy for now to decompress after living in the Bobcat & Panther filled woods with his sissy since February when their dad who loved him to death, died.
Watching him slowly transition from being insanely skittish already fills my soul. He got a LONG bath today & no longer smells like the wicked woods, funk & death. He finally peed for the first time today (for literally minutes)but no #2's yet. (Normal) Hes so gentle, still very scared but coming around slowly & just wants human interaction after fighting & surviving the horrific outside elements of Montura all alone-all this time.
This is why we do what we do. ❤️ 💙 💜 💖

Mama was out in the road trying to come to the Trap to get food for her remaining babies when this happened.

Last night our little Montura family came- minus 1 puppy, in the pouring rain knowing that the Bobcats would be hunkered down. Here is a timeline & visual 😞😓😩
We're working 24-7 to get the last 2 puppies so we can trap mama & the daddy & get them all reunited as their 5 siblings are thriving with With Love for the Animals Rescue. 😞😓

Weve spent over 5 weeks working in Montura on Cujo, Demi & Elvis. Got Cujo 2 nights before Thanksgiving & Demi & Elvis the night before Thanksgiving & drove them across the state at 1am each night. The second that was over, we've spent nearly every waking moment out there on the 7 puppies, their mom, Dad & now the 2 we found at the abandoned home where their owner died. Yesterday someone spoke to the neighbor & they had no idea that the guy had died. So these unfixed dogs have had nothing to eat since he died months until we found them.It is so overwhelming & now with the 2 puppies out there & this pack of cats coming consistently, its even scarier because we're luring them here.No, we cannot move it now. Every single night the mom comes here to eat where she's eaten for 2+ years & now she's extremely skittish because she knows it's not safe to go in the enclosure in case predators approach. We could have caught her weeks ago but we don't want the puppies to be on their own since theyre still nursing, so we're not catching her until we get them. But this is getting scarier by the day. What a pickle. 😞😓😩

The Good. The bad. The ugly. The scary.
We're desperately working to get the last 2 puppies out of the "Steadfast Seven" puppy litter we've been working for 3 weeks. Mamma is REFUSING to bring them back to the trap now that 5 have "gone missing".Then we'll save Mom & Dad. To top this nightmare off, there's another tiny dog about a mile down the street who stands in the middle of the street trying to stop everyone, begging for food for him & a female whose owner died.They've just been left at the abandoned dead mans house.It never ends in this third world country AKA Montura! Enjoy the cute part of the video but also pray to God we can get the last 2 puppies soon. We've never had packs of Bobcats go into the Trap like we are ALL day today (even right now)let alone during broad daylight. We're praying the last 2 puppies are somewhere safe & well hidden but they're coming to the age where mama will not be able to hide them much longer. The drive is 2 hours each way & then another 1.5 hours to the rescue whos taking them on the other coast. For this rescue mission, we must ask for donations to continue. The feeder needs dog food & we need help to keep going.This is going on much longer than we thought, costing thousands of dollars out-of-pocket. I know the day after Christmas is not ideal but there are 2 teeny weeny puppies who NEED help.Theyre ALL FULL of deadly worms (pictured from the others) That means many many trips back & forth & concocting new methods & ideas since she won't bring them to the trap now.
