⚠️DONATION PLEA - RUGGED, DURABLE DOG TOYS! PLEASE SHARE!

At Gulf Coast Humane Society, we strive to provide a loving and stimulating environment for our dogs while they wait for their forever homes. We are currently running low on durable, rugged dog toys, which are essential for keeping our larger dogs mentally and physically engaged inside their kennels.

These toys not only provide entertainment but also help reduce stress and anxiety, making a world of difference for our furry friends. If you can, please consider donating hard, durable toys that can withstand the energy and enthusiasm of our larger pups.

This weekend is the time to make a 'Pit Stop' at Lee County Domestic Animal Services and fall in love with one of our Luv-A-Bull, Ador-A-Bull, and Adopt-A-Bull, over 40-pound pups. Their adoption fees will be waived August 23rd and 24th with an approved application.

🚨CLEAR THE SHELTERS ADOPTION SPECIAL AND FUNDRAISER STARTS SATURDAY, AUG. 10!

Gulf Coast Humane Society is once again participating in the annual Clear The Shelters adoption and donation campaign. GCHS will be running a month-long HALF-OFF on all adoption fees – including adult cats/dogs, puppies and kittens from Aug. 10-Sept. 10.

– Clear The Shelters, NBCUniversal Local’s nationwide pet adoption and donation initiative – which has helped more than one million pets find new homes and raised millions of dollars for participating animal shelters and rescues since its 2015 inception – is returning for its milestone 10th annual campaign this Aug. 10 to Sept. 10.

GCHS is very excited to announce our participation in the BISSELL Pet Foundation National Empty the Shelters adoption campaign!!

The Empty the Shelters will start Tuesday, July 9, and run through July 31! GCHS is running some wonderful adoption fee specials, including:

$50 adoption fee on all shelter dogs over six-months old
$25 for shelter dogs who have over a 90-day stay at GCHS
$20 on all cats and kittens!

Puppies under the age of six months are EXCLUDED.

This week will be a crucial adoption window for GCHS and we are looking for help from the community. GCHS will be undergoing facility maintenance starting July 15 and throughout the week. We literally want to EMPTY THE SHELTER this week to help free up space during the facility maintenance.

Once the maintenance projects are finished, GCHS will be up and running again fully.

📌Find your next furry friend at a reduced adoption fee, by visiting www.gulfcoasthumanesociety.org. All of GCHS shelter cats and dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. GCHS is located at 2010 Arcadia Steet in Fort Myers. HOURS: Tuesday-Friday 12-6 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 12-5 p.m.

This sweet little dog is running loose around the Oasis Condominiums in downtown Fort myers. Very skittish but looks like he could be someone's pet. Please share.
