“Pancho”, a giant breed rescue, is getting neutered by Dr. Coffey today. A good reminder that large breed dogs can require more care and expense and research should be done before adopting. This one has found his way to a wonderful client and his forever home!

Looking to give local? Since 1997 the Charleston Dog Shelter has been actively caring for dogs by spaying/neutering, vaccinating and adopting both locally and nationally. Please consider giving so that the all volunteer organization can keep providing care for the dogs in our area.

**Today is the Day!** It's our biggest fundraising event of the year, Giving Tuesday! We're reaching out to our supporters to ask for your help in any way you can. As a shelter run entirely by dedicated volunteers, every donation you make goes directly toward our rescue efforts and mission.

Our primary focus is on spaying and neutering, as well as finding loving families for each dog that comes through our doors. We often take in dogs that require urgent and sometimes costly veterinary care, but we believe every dog deserves the best care we can provide. We are immensely grateful for your support, and we know we couldn't do this without you!

Many of you have asked how you can assist us further. Here are some ways to help:

- **Cash Donations**: Every dollar makes a difference. You can donate on this post.

- **Donate Items**: We are in need of:
- Dry dog food (Purina or Pedigree)
- Canned dog food with pull tabs (Purina or Pedigree)
