Sofi—-> Vala! She’s a Canadian girly now 🙀 🇨🇦 I’ve never sent a puppy out of the US before so this was definitely a learning experience, but all the hard work was worth it! I also knew this is where I needed to send a pup because shes not too far from Banff and that has always been a special place for my family since I grew skiing there and we return nearly every year. ❤️

Wonderland —> Willow! She was the first to meet her new family. She now lives in Colorado with 2 older pup siblings. It’s so sweet because Willow is also Lu’s mom’s name 🥹

The puppies had the best weekend getting socialized at the gym this weekend. It was usually pretty busy and there were people swinging around and banging heavy weights. Loud music was thumping and people were yelling. What did the puppies do while in the wagon the whole time? SLEEP 🥹🙏🏼😍 people were so shocked at how calm they were and that they were only 7 weeks old. We got to do a lot of education on ethical breeding as well which was awesome. Met some big names in the Crossfit/lifting/wellness world. Overall, such a great experience for these babies.

We have a GREAT opportunity for socialization this weekend. The CrossFit Games are in Fort Worth and the gym I attend is hosting big events all weekend. The puppies will join for for safe socialization and be exposed to a bunch of loud sounds and different people.

The pups turned 2 weeks old yesterday! Time is flying by with them. They are starting to toddle around and eyes are opening 😃 they are also learning to play and it’s the cutest thing ever

I knew she has a lot of pups so I didn’t want to withhold food and she didn’t want to potty beforehand so it makes it a bit harder to search for pups…. And her belly was so big she needed 2 X-ray photos 😂 loooots of little pups in there!!! We are thinking 11…. Maybe 13 😳

Did an IABCA show with Meatball yesterday for some practice and experience and it went really well! Took Group 2 then Group 1, second photo is from competing in Puppy BIS. If you’re not familiar with IABCA, it’s helpful learning because you get written critiques from the judges. Overall Meatball is looking real good but now it’s time for him to start filling out (usually happens in the 1-3 yr old timeframe for Danes, especially males). We had a lot of fun and got to see friends from other competitions and meet new friends and new breeds!

Ahh it’s happened!! Lu was bred today with Lincoln! Of course the hardest part is waiting 4 weeks to confirm. Ultrasound is scheduled for May 20th. The stud is a beautiful solid blue male who has done well in both sports and in the show ring. These puppies will be the same colors as my last litter: blue based solid, merle and harlequin. I will have puppies for pet and sport. While I do have a decently full waitlist, priority will be given to people who want to compete in sports with their Dane because I will have a few I want to place in sport homes. Lu is sitting at the #1 spot for Great Danes! While it may change as the year progresses, based off last years time she would be around #3, which is still awesome! She finished #8 this year, but we’ve been training and can see the results of all the work 😃 hopefully you’ll see us at invitationals next year

Introduction post! It’s been awhile since I introduced myself to y’all. My name is Emma and this is my husband Alex. We got married last January and thankfully he loves me enough to put up with having a litter of puppies 5 months later 😅 we both work full time jobs, I am an Operations engineer and he is a business consultant (hit him up if you ever need help with growing your business lol). The dogs are all my hobby, he helps wrangle them and is one of the few people who can release Lu at FastCAT, but I’m the one behind everything you see here. We are both very active, love working out, traveling, and water. I have a passion for well-bred Danes who are versatile. Want to go run and play for a few hours? Great! Sick all weekend and can’t do much with your dogs? That’s fine they’ll be okay for a few days. By no means though are my dogs just lazy couch potatoes 100% of the time. They love to play, learn, and bond with their owners.
I try to be as transparent and personable as possible. That’s why I love using Instagram for my dogs, you can see how they live their daily lives and see “behind the scenes” a bit. I constantly am seeking to educate myself on many levels, so while I don’t know nearly enough, I am always here to help try to answer any questions you may have (and can’t we all strive to learn more? 🤔).

It’s my bestest girl’s birthday!! Momma Lu turns 3 today, gonna let the champagne fly for the big dog years 21 🤪 love my spitfire of a girl, she is always down for any adventure, would sell Kona for just a bite of Meatball’s food, and such a sweet momma to her babies.

Backyard breeders use designer and fancy marketing terms to try to make you think you’re getting a unique variation of a breed. In reality, you’re just getting a mix that May look cute as a puppy, but you’ll probably be paying for it in vet bills down the road. If you want something unique, get a well bred dog 😂 or go get a rare or lesser known breed from a preservation breeder. A quality bred dog doesn’t need marketing gimmicks to sell, they should speak for themselves because they come from a solid foundation and a breeder who cares about the dogs, not lining their pockets by tricking buyers.
