Dog training shows its best results when u start at 6-8 wks old, continuously for ATLEAST, the 1st year of life.

The 1st year is vital to training bcus this is the time ur pup is learning u, it’s environment & KEYWORDS for basic training.
Dogs xplore through their nose, paws & curiosity. I prefer for them to knw when to use each asset.

Therefore, our 1st training session was me est. primary authority…even if it required tiring him out. Eventually, he fell right into it. Like clockwork. Like it’s innate, in him & me. 😉 & is!

Est. authority — In the beginning, it’ll be ‘establishing authority’ btwn the owner & trainer. Pup is ONLY allowed authority when told to.

.example 👉🏽SIT. GO. WAIT. NO JUMPING. WATCH. These are words the trainer & the owner, will be reinforcing. If u, the trainer, are saying single or two-worded words, the owner shldn’t be saying “NO GO SIT DOWN!” It can be confusing.
“Do u want me to go or sit?”
Open communication w pawrents is a MUST! Remember, u kinda gotta train them too.

Goliath is a alpha male for sure. His nose leads him everywhere to piss. Literally. As a reinforcer, to minimize leash pulling, I pepped when he saw a tree he really liked. He wanted to smell, then.. u guessed it, PISS! ☺️ he’d pull me right to it. How do we do this with no pulling?
“Okay G. You want that tree?”
We wld start ovr. Walk bck a few feet, use that KEYWORD he alrdy knows, SIT. He sits. Verbal reward! — add in wait. He waits on a 3 count. Verbal reward! add in command, “GO.” “But SLOW” right after to remind, ‘no pulling.’
Aftr a few tries, he gets it!

Your pet has ‘mental health’ just like you. Feed them well. It’s not hard to make your own fresh dogs foods, especially if you’re looking to get away from dried & processed kibble. I guarantee, whatever you make ‘you & your pal’ will LOVE it. & the results. Noooo!! you don’t have to break the bank either.. before you go to purchase “fresh dog foods” that’s also PROCESSED, stay tuned with me and let’s transition together! 🐶. Three key ingredients to get started: 1. 🐠 P R O T E I N; this is any meat of choice. 2. 🥔 S T A R C H; this can be potatoes, rice or bread. Starch can also act as a filler food, to keep your pet full, longer. 3. 🥕 V E G G I E; this is the more tricky ingredient. This will take trial & error to know what you pet likes & dislikes. Lastly, until your pal is fully off kibble, I recommend adding it to the fresh foods for at least 3-4 weeks & gradually add smaller amounts. If your pet has digestive issues, consult your vet for the best meal plan. ⚠️ I AM NOT A VET!!!
