Dr. Eric Collins grew up nearby in Colleyville, TX where he graduated from Grapevine High School before obtaining a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. Growing up, Dr. Collins has always gravitated towards animals so becoming a veterinarian has been a lifelong dream of his. He enjoys spending time at home with his wife, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. He is also a huge Texas Longhorns sports fan, especially during football season. His special interests in the veterinary field include ultrasound imaging, surgery, dentistry, and urgent/emergency care medicine. With a history of having Great Danes at home, he loves large dogs and can’t wait to see more of them at VO Vets!

Meet Dirk, our brave little golden visitor! 🐾 At 11 weeks old and 20.8 pounds, he's in for his vaccine boosters at VO Vets! 💉 Vaccines are a vital part of keeping puppies safe from harmful diseases like parvo, distemper, and more. Which can be especially dangerous for young pups. By staying on top of his healthy life filled with playtime, treats (Like his favorites: beef liver & cheese! 🧀❤️) and all the puppy adventures he deserves! We can't wait to see this cutie back soon!

🐾Say Hello to Poda! 🐾 This adorable 5-week-old kitten came in for a visit at VO Vets and we made sure he got the best start to a healthy life, including his first dewormer! 💊

At this young age, deworming is very important. Kittens like Poda are vulnerable to intestinal parasites that can be passed from their mothers or picked up in their environment. Deworming helps protect against these parasites, ensuring that kittens stay healthy, grow strong, and have energy to explore the world! 🌏

Regular deworming is essential to prevent issues like poor growth, digestive troubles, and even more health risks. We love seeing our little patients thrive and helping them start life on the right paw! ❤️
