Due to the weather and in consideration of the safety of our staff, clients, and patients, we have decided to close early today. We plan to have a delayed opening tomorrow, depending on road conditions.

In the meantime, we will have someone monitoring our AllyDVM (817-241-2755) for any urgent text messages. Please be aware that responses may be delayed as they will be checking messages every hour.

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.

Meet the Staff Monday!

Dena Whitehurst:

Dena is one of our CSRs. She has been a part of the Harris Parkway Animal Hospital family for over 6 years. Dena has a big heart and loves helping our clients and patients feel welcome, interacting with everyone, showing compassion and kindness.
Dena and her husband live in Fort Worth. They have a heart for senior dogs and have adopted several seniors over the years. They currently have a 14 year old spaniel mix named Bandit.
In addition to her full time job at HPAH, Dena enjoys staying active, working out, spending time with family and friends, volunteering in the media ministry at her church, and gardening.

We are back with Meet the Staff Monday!

Meet James Heck

James has been a part of the HPAH family since August of 2015. He started off as a kennel technician. With his high energy and playfulness he quickly became a favorite to many of the dogs that came here to board. James is now one of our wonderful vet technicians.
James enjoys fishing, skate boarding and working on his cars. He is a pet dad to his two dogs Marty and Sophie and two cats Buster and Cleo. He also cares for a couple of neighborhood kittens. James always comes into work with a positive attitude and a funny story to tell.

Meet the staff Monday!

Dr. Morgan Garcia:

I was born and raised here in Texas with a love for animals even as a very young child. Because my parents would only allow me to have a reasonable number of pets growing up, I always had dozens of stuffed animals!

I started working in a veterinary clinic in high school and I fell in love with the medicine after witnessing several cases where things seemed hopeless and an animal was able to overcome! These experiences encouraged me to pursue a career as a veterinarian. I went to Texas Tech for my Bachelor's in Animal Science (wreck em'!) and then on to vet school in Tennessee at Lincoln Memorial University for my Doctorate.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Casey and we have a special needs son, Lane who is the light of our life! We have 2 corgis, a cat and 2 quarter horses!
