I got in early enough yesterday to have mine and Moosey’s special one on one time🥰; Nibbler and Kennedy joined us. Kennedy got her Spaw day! And it’s taken a month, but Nibbler is finally figuring out the ball and the thrower aren’t objects of abuse to him; and are actually fun things. ❤️🐾 and Tundra stole the phone for selfies

They tried to be sneaky ….. but I found it. Bubbles were attacked.. there were maulings of humans.. It was a gorgeous day and we made the most of it.

Today we welcomed Buddha! He came in with his “Little” brother Frank,for his get to know you day, and Frank for his refresher. Frank told him how much fun he had last year when he stayed. So of course he wanted to check it out himself. ☺️

🌈💔🐾Bernardi Bacardi 3/15/21-11/10/24🐾💔🌈
He had a heart and personality as big as he was. He filled every space he graced with smiles and laughter- and so much fur. He absolutely adored attention, kicking rocks, lounging in any body of water he found, and leaning in so hard for those hugs and belly rubs you’d swear he was trying to morph into you. He was the absolute sweetest furry giant. His short time with those who loved him and he loved the most has/will leave an impact that will last a lifetime.
He spent his last days in one of his happiest of places and had a great weekend. Unfortunately unknown to us all this would be his last. I woke up yesterday morning, and went to wake him up- and he was gone. He left us while he and us slept. Tragically overnight his stomach twisted and it took his life. His wonderful, sweet life. While his humans were flying in I desperately tried to reach them. As soon as they landed I had to break the news. It’s been beyond devastating to us all. Please keep Bernard’s family in your thoughts during this extremely heartbreaking, sudden tragic loss of such a huge soul.
(Nope, I am not well at all. He’s the 5th piece of my heart that has left us in just less than month. But the only one I’ve been with when they left us. This is absolutely the worst part of this path I’ve been called to do. It never gets easier. It never doesn’t shatter you.) ❤️ Forever loved Bernard ❤️
