Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great day and stayed cooled! Tomorrow is supposed to stay around 101 for the high; so it’s a normal hours day- if you want to pick up around 3/4pm; just let me know.

🥵🐾🔥HOW HEAT WAVE REMINDER🔥🐾🥵

DAYCARE ONLY:
8/19 MONDAY: High is predicted to be 106; CLOSED

8/20 TUESDAY: high is predicted to be 104; EARLY PICK UP REQUIRED; please plan to pick up your dog(s) between 1-2pm as we put them up for nap/lunch time. If this is not feasible, then keep them home. They are still getting 3-6 hours(depending on what time they arrive) of non-stop(unless they take their own chill breaks- they aren’t forced to do anything they don’t want to do) ball, bubbles, pool and hose play! So if you think an early release day isn’t “worth it”… uhm; that’s what we do on normal summer days; except when it’s not highs of 105 plus with heat index’s even higher; we only do rotations of drinks and potty breaks and we do not engage them in play and they spend the rest of the time hanging out after lunch/naptime waiting to go home. When it gets as hot as it’s predicted; it’s too hot for even that really; hence the early pick ups.
Is there a discount? No. As majority are on discounted passes as it is. And we spend those 6 hours actively engaging all the dogs and sweating our own butts off to make sure they still go home tired and have the best day before that hell fire heat kicks in. You’re welcome to find another place that does what I/we do for the already too low of price that is charged. ☺️🤷🏻‍♀️

Rest of the week normal hours will continue as the highs have lowered a bit. Since we don’t do much at the heat of the day; it is suggested and encouraged to pick up as soon as you are able in the mid/late afternoon.

DAYCARE (your boarding dog plays with daycare but is NOT daycare; this does NOT apply to you)
NEXT WEEK(NOT THIS WEEK):
8/19: CLOSED -MONDAY
The rest of the week; if it says it’s going to be 105 or higher; morning/early afternoon play ONLY. That’s 3-5hours(depending on what time you come in) of very intense and active playtime before it’s gets too hot.
If it stays under 105; we will be open normal hours(except Monday) for daycare.
