Meet Archie, a charming 5.5-year-old mini- dachshund, who is eager to find his forever home. His devoted mom had to make the difficult decision to rehome him due to unforeseen circumstances. Archie is a lovable and potty-trained companion, who would thrive in an adult-only home with a fenced yard. He enjoys playing with squeaky toys, tug-of-war, and snuggling up for naps. While he may need some gentle training to manage his reactivity to other dogs on leash, Archie has already worked with a trainer and has shown great potential. With a little patience and understanding, Archie can become a wonderful addition to a family who appreciates his unique personality and dachshund quirks. He knows several commands, including 'sit,' 'leave it,' and 'time for bed.' If you're ready to provide a loving and stable home for Archie, he promises to bring joy and companionship into your life. He just needs to be with someone who understands and appreciates his breed-specific traits and needs. A dachshund-savvy owner who can provide gentle guidance and redirection will help Archie reach his full potential. No small children, not cat tested. Would do well with maybe one other dachshund.

Cody is a charming 3.5-year-old mini-dachshund, surrendered by his owner who describes him as the perfect pup. He thrives on walks, effortlessly going potty during these outings, would love a fenced in yard. Upon waking, he stretches, seeking belly rubs, and loves to snuggle when lying down on the couch. Cody adores blankets, giving kisses, and receiving attention. He isn't aggressive, nor does he exhibit food aggression or begging. When he eats, he's satisfied. Cody forms strong bonds, following you around the house, but may experience separation anxiety due to being accustomed to other dogs, would do great with another dachshund, perhaps, not cat tested no small children . He requires a car seat, as new environments can make him restless. Cody is great on a leash, loves people, and enjoys exploring his surroundings. While he's generally quiet, he may bark when crated. With training, he's learned to use foam steps to access the couch and bed. Cody would thrive in a home where he can receive ample attention, love, and care. He does love sun bathing as well. We would like to find a home where someone is home most of the time or working from home. No small children.

Just waiting for our snacks! Here’s a heartwarming update on the beautiful trio that were adopted nearly 3 years ago. Their mom said they are thriving and they are just wonderful pups. Our hearts are broken today as we had to say goodbye to Frankie last evening. His big beautiful heart may have stopped beating, but its impact will live on. He went very quickly and peacefully., he was ready. He was the sweetest soul, his tail never stopped wagging, to the point, he would hit the other dogs in the face with it. When Frankie was coming by, they would all squint their eyes. Happy boy till the end. I miss you so much already cant stop crying . 💔😭💔
