We’ll be doing field trips to dog friendly stores all week to stay away from the heat!

Please make sure you keep your pets at home or walk in the early morning or late evening. I saw a person walking a boxer who was lagging behind with its tongue lolling out- clearly overheated. It doesn't take long for a pet to die in extreme heat.

Jax’s dad finally got the dog he wanted his entire adult life but that joy slowly turned into stress when Jax showed signs of reactivity to other dogs, cars and people. All he wanted was to enjoy a walk with his dog.
Brain worked hard with Jackson and is an intelligent man but was having a difficult time apply what we practiced in class to real life. This is one of the rare occasions where I offered to train Jax for him to help him reach his goal. Six weeks of training walks 3x a week and look at them go! This was our last session and a great investment on their part!

To limit the chaos from running out of the house we practice calm and polite behaviors before we play. Impulse control is one of the biggest challenges for adolescent dogs. I’m so proud of the progress this group has made.
