I posted about Kirby last week; and how he is now able to walk after getting Electroacupuncture and Laser Therapy. Well, I couldn’t resist and had to share this video of Kirby in his hot dog Halloween costume! Look at him walking! This is 3 weeks post his initial presentation to me when he couldn’t walk at all. Kirby 🐶 presented earlier this week with an injured back and paralysis in his rear legs. He couldn’t walk. He had one Electroacupuncture treatment and 2 Laser therapy treatments on his back. Look at his progression just from this week of treatments! Amazing!

Mindy 🐶 wasn’t eating; and she was acting lethargic when she first presented to me. We ran bloodwork; and she had significant anemia. Radiographs and an abdominal ultrasound confirmed that Mindy 🐶 had a huge mass attached to her spleen. Mindy 🐶needed surgery right away. There are 2 types of splenic masses found in dogs: a hematoma or a hemangiosarcoma. A splenic hematoma is a benign mass of the spleen; and with surgery, the prognosis is very good. Unfortunately, a splenic hemangiosarcoma is an aggressive, cancerous mass of the spleen. The good news is that Mindy had a splenic hematoma! Mindy 🐶 is 10 days post surgery and she is doing great! She lost a lb because the mass weighed almost a pound. She is eating well and she is back to her normal self. Yay! We are so happy for Mindy 🐶 and her owners! ❤️

Bo 🐶 is a 9 year old Irish wolfhound who gets regular Electroacupuncture and Laser therapy. She initially presented to me with a very swollen, infected hindlimb and she had difficulty walking. She also has arthritis. The swelling in her hindlimb has gone done significantly; and she has better mobility after her treatments. Oakley was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer on his nose that deformed it and he was given only 1 month to live. Fast forward a year and a half later... still here! I shared Katie’s story before and I wanted to give an update. Katie had a back injury and was completely paralyzed when she first presented to me. All she could do was lay there. She couldn’t even sit up. I treated Katie with a combination of electroacupuncture, chiropractic, laser therapy, and herbals. And with the help of her wonderful owners doing water therapy, and exercises with her at home, and working with her on a daily basis; she is now walking again. Please see the video! Prissy 🐶 is getting a dental cleaning and extractions today. In the video, I am working on a premolar 4 extraction. The premolar 4 tooth, aka the carnassial tooth, is the main chewing tooth; and can become easily fractured by chewing on hard bones. Absorbable sutures are placed in the gingival tissue post extraction. We will perform full mouth dental radiographs and post extraction dental radiographs to make sure all roots are extracted. Oh my! Goose🐴 is really enjoying her chiropractic treatment. Look at all the yawns 🥱 and the big sigh at the end of the video. Goose🐴 has a tight scapula muscle so I am performing a method called “muscle spindle cell” technique to help loosen up that tight muscle. 🐴❤️ #balancedbodyvetacupuncture
