Prissy 🐶 is getting a dental cleaning and extractions today. In the video, I am working on a premolar 4 extraction. The premolar 4 tooth, aka the carnassial tooth, is the main chewing tooth; and can become easily fractured by chewing on hard bones. Zora 🐴 receives monthly Acupuncture and Chiropractic treatment to help with body soreness, arthritis, and headshaking. Headshaking behavior is when a horse 🐴 randomly shakes their head and becomes repetitive. It most often is an acquired behavior. Headshaking behavior is thought to be caused by overactivity of branches of the trigeminal nerve that supply sensation to the face and muzzle. In this video, I am adjusting Zora's atlas (cervical vertebra 1). A lot of times with Headshaking syndrome, the atlas is rotated. 🐴
