Caught Snow sleeping yesterday. I seriously was cracking up looking at him. It was way funnier in person. The pic makes it look as though he's looking down but he was definitely in power down mode. Only when he realized he was starting to slip off the plant he finally readjusted. He was like this for over 30 minutes!

We have some molters in Daphne's group. I've spotted some white on the abdomen of a couple of my babies signaling they've made the transition to i3. I will try to get a pic of the i3 markings once I feed them later. One thing to keep in mind with spiders is they do not all develop at the same rate in a clutch. Also, they aren't always the same size even if they are at the same stage of development. Just like people there is variation in size even at maturity. Also, like people, spiders may be reproductively ready sooner or later too. I had females from the same clutch mature out i9-i11.

Babies from these ladies coming soon! Frown, Sally and Onyx were all bred to Rocky Horror (CB Apalachicola/peach phase). Velma was bred to President Snow (CB White Recessive, brother of Frown Sally and Onyx). Daphne came to me as an adult and gravid so the daddy is unknown, but she is a large girl with the coolest hot pink chels. PM or comment with questions about any of the pairings!

In case anyone was wondering, Rocky figured out the feeding cup. He just needed a pupa instead.

Bolds!

Regals in the wild are commonly found on palms. Petunia shows how insanely well they are able to move through long narrow leaves like on my spider plant. I let the regals play on my houseplants for some enrichment when they are out. I do not use any chemicals on my plants.

Onyx is such a sweetie. She always comes over to say hi.

Sally decorating! She recently got kicked out of her enclosure due to her kiddos taking over.

Molting is on my mind right now. I'm eagerly waiting for Daphne's kiddos to start molting into i3 soon. They are hunting so well right now! Check out this lil guy!
