We are again puppyless. Thanks to all you wonderful families who like and share, and who are taking care of their beautiful family companions.

Next on the schedule is precious Macchiato. She and Bean will be breeding for their first litter next week. We expect them to come mid to late February and with gorgeous colors, ready to take home in April.

They both are our house dogs and we can't wait to get to know their puppies.

Update! Steve is currently loving on his family and is set for life.

This guy is a treasure. He just turned 13 weeks old and is crate trained and almost completely house trained. He has been learning from the big dogs that he's not allowed in the kitchen unless invited--super smart.

When there's only one puppy still hanging around at the end of a litter, he doesn't have to stay out in the puppy pen where he had so much fun growing up and playing around. After all, that would be cruel and unusual punishment, which is unconstitutional.

This sweet boy gets to come inside and learn what the big dogs do.

* sit at the door before going in or out
* curl up beside the kids in the living room when they're reading a book or watching a movie
* go potty outside, not inside (only one accident a day so far, and mostly our fault)

What a well-behaved young gentleman he is!

I am loving all the black Friday deals today! I hope you find some you can take advantage of. We will not be offering a black Friday deal, however.

We are already having a sale!

You may not realize, but costs are increasing for breeders, just like everywhere else. We did increase our deposit (without increasing our total price) since that is what we use to feed and care for our dogs. It doesn't cover our time or energy, so our income has decreased already.

And that's okay. We see you! We know what inflation is doing to everyone.

Over the years we have benefitted tremendously from this fun family business. It has allowed me to be at home with the kids and still get extra things done when things come up:
* redoing the roof when it started leaking,
* replacing the washer and dryer (heavy duty large for our family) when they went kaput,
* summer family reunions wherever they may be across the country,
* and many more on-the-spot financial challenges.

One thing I haven't mentioned yet, and is the most important, is giving our kids the opportunity for further education. Your puppy adoptions have put kids through college, helped pay for trips abroad, mission service and many more projects that enhance our children's lives, as well as my own.

Currently, my portion of the proceeds is helping me learn more about the writing and publishing industry as I continue to write books that have been on my mind for years. I am grateful for this opportunity! It's challenging and expanding, just what I need on the down side of my century.

Many blessings and praise to you families who take such care of not just our dogs, but all dogs, whether you adopt from a shelter or a breeder. You help make the world of canine companions flourish for families everywhere.

We are so thankful for the awesome families who allow us to serve them!

𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒔𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈! 🦃

Here's a peek into what happens at the tail end of a litter. When there are only one or two puppies, they get more attention and time with the family.

Each time we go in and out the door, they learn that we ask them to sit, just like the big dogs. It's not okay at our house to rush in or out.

They still get the best food and great care. The two we have now have gotten their second vaccination already.

People say a baby grows up so fast, and well, a puppyhood is gone in a flash, literally. These two have some puppy time left, but aren't quite as much work as the smaller puppies.

Yesterday, we sent a puppy out into the world to be the whole world to his family. Their special needs are on the way to getting served.

Like a few of our former puppies, that one will be a seizure alert dog to a wonderful college student, who already feels relief knowing that she will soon have a furry companion and protector. We have also been privileged to provide a diabetic alert dog for a young boy, a mobility service dog for a young burn victim, and countless emotional support dogs, as well as serving many families dealing with allergies.

I can't express my gratitude for being a part of awesome solutions over the years for families who felt there was no where else to turn.

We're so excited to be at the tail end of another litter, with just one remaining. We love these guys and we love the families who open their hearts and their homes. Let us know what your home needs. Maybe something furry will fit the bill.

For those who are interested in older dogs, one of our long-time clients is moving to the UK in the near future and will not be able to take all of her furbabies. 😕 She has requested our help in finding the right place for them. They are both great family companions and have been around a pr***en child and cats. They are well-mannered out and about and they are located in Ohio. Since there is only a two week window (due to my not seeing the email from a week ago) we would love to hear from anyone interested.

We will be looking for a home where they can both be together, but if needed, they can be separated. Doris is a 10-year-old Aussiedoodle who needs some stimulation, and Minnie Jo (Jojo) is a 7-year-old Goldendoodle from Sally who is a little nervous around children, but is fine once she knows the child (I'm thinking that doesn't include teenagers). I would love to talk to anyone who would like more information. Just let me know.

At 3 weeks old they've been eating softened food for a few days. They are all loving it! They are still on mom's good milk for another few weeks, and by then they will have the teeth they need for harder food. Enjoy!

Puppies are playing together and finding their legs. They love to cuddle with us, too. They are now in their big puppy pen where they have more room to run.
